Shaun Ryder is a lovely guy...i stopped him backstage at some club years ago (even though i was told not to) and asked him to say hello to my partner...not only did he do that..he was as nice and courteous as could be. Fuck the hair Shaun...you are a top dude and i will never forget how lovely you were that night to my better half...Respect, peace

What an absolute geezer! Such a lovely bloke and I stand by the fact that Happy Mondays were one of the most unique sounding, underrated bands of a generation. They get props, but not enough in my opinion!

Sorry to hear about Shaun's recent health problems, what a great guy and a lesson to everyone in how to take what life throws at you on the chin.
@Random Person It's possible that his recent health issues aren't directly related to that. Either way, 'clean living' people get ill too. The lesson for me is in how you deal with things. Shaun's wearing it on his sleeve and that's going to be inspirational to other people in similar positions.
