I'm beginning to understand why they're walled off.
There’s a history and reason for that wall. The intifada (which these people yell in these “protests”) were Palestinians suicide bombings killing Israeli civilians in coffee shops, bus stops etc. There was no wall and no checkpoints before that. It was literally the consequence of their violence towards civilians and completely understandable of why a country would do that. Egypt just build more cement walls between them and Gaza as well.
