elite acceleration on a 400 pound Defensive Tackle, the most accurate comparison is probably the boulder that chased Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark .
Joey Harper is a guard. The size, the athleticism, the run blocking, all of that screams to move him inside. What's really weird is that Briscoe's a better fit at OT.
Pronunciation guide for Cane: Your center's name is Polish, so w is not a w sound like in Walker. phonetic: Seej-Koff-Skee. or using English words to ge close: Seige-Cough-Ski Hope this helps!
Okay had to point it out beacuse I find it kinda funny. 5 of your draft picks went to college in the state of Florida (2 Usf?!, 1 Gators, 1 Florida State).
I feel like you gotta start all 3 rookie OL to maximize their development. They're all within 1-2 OVR of the veterans, so there's very little opportunity lost by doing so. Also, unless you edit Lawrence's Star dev back cuz it seemed unnecessarily taken away, I would look to trade him now and look for the future at QB. 77 OVR with Normal dev and hitting his late 20s is going nowhere fast.
This is the exact type of draft the Jags needed. Nothing flashy as in playmakers or anything, but drafting to hopefully solidify the O line is the right call...build up that foundatio.
Johnathan Moore could be a hellacious edge with that speed, size, and pass rushing combination! Also, as another comment said, I would strongly consider swapping your tackle to guard and guard to tackle, just looking at those stats and traits
A good draft to build the foundation of the team. Next year definitely will have the QB question, but I think you're doing a good job building a team that a rookie QB can step into and succeed immediately. Bummer about losing out on Tom though, would've been the perfect fit.
Really good episode, I love the draft outcome! Its so fun to watch the type of players you obtained, they aren't box office picks but they have a chance to develop and make an impact without the expectation to be insanely good.
9:34 Notice that Russ retired as Mahomes' backup in KC after they beat Tampa in the Super Bowl. That's probably NOT the way anyone assumed he'd get Ring #2 courtesy of an AFC West team, but a ring's a ring, I suppose. Chiefs Country, Let's Ride… Off Into the Sunset.
Man, I think you could have figured out a way to trade down, potentially to Buffalo, taken that guard, then traded back into the 1st to get that tackle with terrific pass blocking and then worked on developing the run blocking. Might have allowed netting an extra mid rounder for a run stopper or safety.
These kinds of drafts aren't always so exciting, but its so important to have solid talent in the trenches. Luckily, you gonna get an 83 OVR SSXFactor QB next draft!!!
If you can't choose a decent late pick, package up the picks and trade up. All 3 late rounders were terrible. The Linebacker may make a better safety, and the safety probably makes a better waterboy.
Great draft. I also like the qb selection with Trevor Lawrence regression. Obviously not the future but maybe a bridge if drafts don't favor qb class super well. The narrative is maybe this lights a fire under Trevor? Idk but this is fun
to get the auto depth chart, need to turn it on in settings. I always turn it on so it just re-orders my depth chart to start the year then turn it off for whenever I sign FA, etc. throughout the remainder
I’m late to the party here but regarding UDFAS, I always go through at the start of week 1 and sign every UDFA that made a week 1 roster to a three year contract at 2 million with a 120k bonus to mirror IRL contracts for UDFAs. It gives teams the cheap depth to develop and makes free agency more interesting a few years into the franchise when they enter free agency after being developed for a few years
Loving the pace! I think this was a pretty solid offseason. I’m fascinated by the Trevor Lawrence question. I don’t see how he’ll lead you guys a championship given how stacked the AFC is but I think you’re giving him the best chance to succeed.
funny note for the draft. 5 out of your 7 selections went to schools in Florida. Some being teammates, some being rivals. cool storyline possibility's for the locker room you've just added
To be able to auto reorder the depth chart, you have to turn on auto reorder depth chart in settings, which allows the cpu to make changes. I have no idea what they were thinking
Joey Harper is clearly a guard, and would be a monster run blocker pulling with that athleticism and already good run blocking stats, I would consider moving Briscoe to Tackle and swap the positions
Absolutely loved the draft! I think the right r’tackle might not be the best right away because of low pass block but down the road he is gonna be special! You should put him as a focus player imo! Hey guys! What other players should Mr Hurricane put as his focus players?
With T-Law's dev regression, I have a sickening sense "Let Chuck chuck it" is poised to become the comments' new madness mantra. At least he's only 21 - that gives him a higher ceiling than the Saints' Mayweather would've ever had, right…?
P.S. Can anybody tell me if it's a bug or something, it says that Johnson's strongest position is OL and his weakest is QB which to me, and I'm just throwing this out there, seems a little backwards.
If you’re going to do the offensive line training, you should move a backup into the starting QB role. I saw that as a fix for the instant fail bug and it has worked for me so far.
Need to rack up some draft capital for next year... Solid picks on the o line.. Prob shoulda traded down and took that guard.. Coulda got a safety and a 400lb d line..
There's a cool little bit of an update to the game. You can now see career, season, game, rookie season and rookie game records for both the entire league and by team. I know you're a big stat nut like me so I figured I'd share that with ya in case you haven't seen that yet. It's in the NFL records section under the league tab in the franchise menus.
Yet another feature to give insight on for ya Cane. Fun Fact, Auto Re-Order Depth Chart is broken/bugged out. The only way to have it auto re-order is to turn on the auto adjust depth chart in the settings, but even then, you have to sim a week. Another fun fact, for the Offensive Line Training Camp mode, there's a glitch that will automatically end the training unless you have a non-generated QB as the QB1 on the depth chart. Player Regression is still a tad heavy for my taste with rookies but is what it is as this is now the 2nd year it hits heavy in the Madden games. I ignore all the scenarios except for the player breakouts and the QB development for first round QB's. If I remember other bugs, I'll give it a shout on the most recent video.
@42:20 About the Jags starting their rebuild by getting D-Line and O-Line players... "the way the Detroit Lions did at the start of their rebuild." Except, the Lions have been rebuilding for sixty-five years! There are Lions fans that were born AFTER the last time their team won a championship and are now collecting Social Security! Are you going to emulate the Lions and spend decades to rebuild the Jaguars? At least, this year you managed to address the O-Line, pretty much. I remember you saying you were going to that the previous off-season. You really tend to ignore the O-Line whenever possible, don't you Cane?
“I don’t want to pay income tax, would you change that about me?” Might be the funniest line in video game history
I was not expecting that to be his greatest motivation! 😂
Dudes an insecure gf/bf lmao
That was so funny 😂 me too, Eli, me too
elite acceleration on a 400 pound Defensive Tackle, the most accurate comparison is probably the boulder that chased Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark .
U eveŕ seen Vita Vea play? How about Cortez Kennedy or Vince Wilfork?
We gotta see the 400 pounders stats
Joey Harper is a guard. The size, the athleticism, the run blocking, all of that screams to move him inside. What's really weird is that Briscoe's a better fit at OT.
I was gonna say the same thing, maybe switch those two and see what their overalls change to!!
I agree! I’d flip them
Passing on the 400lb DT made me sad
Would of been nice to see his stats at the end as well.
Trueeeeee
The cutscene with Arrington was by far the funniest if seen 😅
Happy to see the 2nd offseason in only 6 episodes
Pronunciation guide for Cane: Your center's name is Polish, so w is not a w sound like in Walker.
phonetic:
Seej-Koff-Skee.
or using English words to ge close:
Seige-Cough-Ski

I’m surprised Lawrence lost his development trait considering he played well last season
definitely should add it back bc no way thats a normal development type of year idc
@ agreed, it was a career year and performed better than most starters
Okay had to point it out beacuse I find it kinda funny. 5 of your draft picks went to college in the state of Florida (2 Usf?!, 1 Gators, 1 Florida State).
"i don't wanna pay income tax"
Me too, buddy. Me too.....
I wish there was an option for you to say can you not please commit tax fraud. We need you 😂
No income tax in Florida he's good 😂
George Pickens just coming out and telling the media that his QB sucks seems realistic to me 😂
This is the exact type of draft the Jags needed. Nothing flashy as in playmakers or anything, but drafting to hopefully solidify the O line is the right call...build up that foundatio.
10:29 is the funniest thing I've seen in this game by far
"George Foreman...takes his grilling empire to the Chicago Bears." 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
“Devon, get the table” took me back 😅
Lawrence losing his dev trait was a killer blow, I think you have to be planning for life without him for all that it would be fun to build around him
Johnathan Moore could be a hellacious edge with that speed, size, and pass rushing combination! Also, as another comment said, I would strongly consider swapping your tackle to guard and guard to tackle, just looking at those stats and traits
Love how Rodgers traits has him as "Personality: Unpredictable......Predictable Player"
That’ll be “Seeks-kow-ski”, Cane.
using the AI voice to pronounce Sieczkowski was my favorite part 😂
A good draft to build the foundation of the team. Next year definitely will have the QB question, but I think you're doing a good job building a team that a rookie QB can step into and succeed immediately. Bummer about losing out on Tom though, would've been the perfect fit.

Dude I laughed out loud at the income tax thing. As a Sabres fan its even funnier given what our GM had to say recently.
Cane keeping all the in state talent with his first 4 picks all coming from Florida colleges lol
He building his pipeline bro😂
The “Devon get the tables comment” was great. lol
That's about how long ago I last watched WWE 🤣
Losing Star on a career year with 102 Rating is ridiculous. You should give him Star back.
9:34 Notice that Russ retired as Mahomes' backup in KC after they beat Tampa in the Super Bowl. That's probably NOT the way anyone assumed he'd get Ring #2 courtesy of an AFC West team, but a ring's a ring, I suppose. Chiefs Country, Let's Ride… Off Into the Sunset.

to get the auto depth chart, need to turn it on in settings. I always turn it on so it just re-orders my depth chart to start the year then turn it off for whenever I sign FA, etc. throughout the remainder
My opinion and people might not like it, but you should give Trevor his dev back. I have no idea why he regressed for that year.
I don’t know if you found out or not but you have to go to settings and turn on autofill now to reorder depth charts. Loving this series!
I’m late to the party here but regarding UDFAS, I always go through at the start of week 1 and sign every UDFA that made a week 1 roster to a three year contract at 2 million with a 120k bonus to mirror IRL contracts for UDFAs. I just binged this to catch up waiting for the next one lol 😂
I'm excited to see how these linemen progress over the course of this season.
Sean Tucker legend at Cuse!! Let’s go!
Cane with the Dudley Boyz reference is elite🔥 21:42
Loving the pace! I think this was a pretty solid offseason. I’m fascinated by the Trevor Lawrence question. I don’t see how he’ll lead you guys a championship given how stacked the AFC is but I think you’re giving him the best chance to succeed.
33:40 killed me lmaoo 😂
Here’s to hoping he took the 403LBS DT, PLEASE CANE 🙏
Income tax part was real bro
funny note for the draft. 5 out of your 7 selections went to schools in Florida. Some being teammates, some being rivals. cool storyline possibility's for the locker room you've just added
I love drafts like this. Reapect the big hogs! I really wanted that 400lb guy 😂
Chuck downfield Johnson! Let's go 😂
Briscoe and Sieczkowski were offensive line teammates at Florida, it was meant to be
To be able to auto reorder the depth chart, you have to turn on auto reorder depth chart in settings, which allows the cpu to make changes. I have no idea what they were thinking
Hey Cane, to get Auto Re-Order Depth Chart button input to appear you have to change the setting to auto in league settings.
Yup I looked the issue up. I really only need it for the off-season.
403 pounds is diabolical
Joey Harper is clearly a guard, and would be a monster run blocker pulling with that athleticism and already good run blocking stats, I would consider moving Briscoe to Tackle and swap the positions
Absolutely loved the draft! I think the right r’tackle might not be the best right away because of low pass block but down the road he is gonna be special! You should put him as a focus player imo! Hey guys! What other players should Mr Hurricane put as his focus players?
Awesome draft for O-line Cane!
19:18 you can see a 22 year old LT. Might’ve been worth looking at(not sure if he did after this point lol)
With T-Law's dev regression, I have a sickening sense "Let Chuck chuck it" is poised to become the comments' new madness mantra. At least he's only 21 - that gives him a higher ceiling than the Saints' Mayweather would've ever had, right…?
With the new regression, Etienne will be probably down to an 80 overall after next year, and then less the next. 27 is pretty old to extend.
The Sieczkowski translator edit killed me
P.S. Can anybody tell me if it's a bug or something, it says that Johnson's strongest position is OL and his weakest is QB which to me, and I'm just throwing this out there, seems a little backwards.
The AI translator voice got me dying 😂
If you’re going to do the offensive line training, you should move a backup into the starting QB role. I saw that as a fix for the instant fail bug and it has worked for me so far.
I think you should put Trevor back at star his season wasn’t bad enough to lose it
max mays and george foreman are elite names
Starting rookie linemen seems to have worked in Pittsburgh. Let’s see if it works here
Cane as a life long panthers fan there was no need for you to say “in playoff games do we trust the finesse did you see him vs Parsons” that hurt man
Thank you
To fix the auto reorder you must go to the settings and change it from manual to auto to fix it.
Can you look at the rookie 'Tyrique Miller', the absolute unit at DT? Interested to see if he was a good prospect or not.
Gotta draft him😂 7:54
Eli Arrington is gonna star in the next Blade movie after this one
The players look like theyre about to take a dump when drafted 😂
“i don’t wanna pay taxes” damnit he’s perfect
Maybe you can sign those udfa guys to practice squad an then sign them to team for cheaper?
What happened to the DT that was 400 pounds Should h ve gotten him need some Meat on that line...Overall solid draft
Need to rack up some draft capital for next year... Solid picks on the o line.. Prob shoulda traded down and took that guard.. Coulda got a safety and a 400lb d line..

"I don't want to pay income tax" is the biggest mood I've seen in Madden.
Would you change that about me?
Are those cut scenes real? Cause I can’t get my madden game to do that what am I doing wrong?
Yeah not sure why they removed the auto re-order for the depth chart and the re-ordering in the scouting menu. But that’s just EA for you
This Jags team needs Lightfoot in the next draft.. esp if he's in round 2
37:54 I believe it's pronounced
"Seize - cow - ski"
First four Jaguars picks this draft all coming from Florida schools!
The draft should be about taking talent not position. Trading down to take that Top 5 talent guard was the obvious play.
Cane pls put T Law’s development back to star, he had a career year!
It’d probably be pronounced Size-cow-skee
Lawrence losing star dev is kinda dumb honestly, he definitely played well enough to be star
Change your formation subs so u can use 2 running backs more and other players to get more downs
I think u should move trevor Lawrences dev trait back. Cuz he played way too well to lose it
Sieczkowski = "Size" + "Cow" + "Ski" ... I think.
We NEED to find our true all time GREATEST athlete of ALL time to become the rookie MVP hall of famer..... Bruce "The big Sack" LABOWSKI!!!!!!!
Did he see a top 5 talent grade guard and drafted a maybe okay tackle?
He's terrible at drafting. Trading back was the obvious choice
Yeah coulda traded back 2 or 3 times and got a dominant guard and many pieces mid draft
Yet another feature to give insight on for ya Cane. Fun Fact, Auto Re-Order Depth Chart is broken/bugged out. I've been watching too much of the Bulls franchise. Are we allowed to move player's positions around? Seems like new RT would be really nice at RG.
I'm sure I will at certain times but I try not to as much. Feels like a crutch sometimes.
@@MrHurriicaneLP absolutely! especially for trades. That A Grade lead block stack had me imagining. Great draft either way.
9:06 I’m pretty sure you can’t reorder your draft board it’s so dumb
Good god those $80 million cpa hits for lawrence down the road
Would you change that about me 😢
The real goal of this upcoming season is to have fewer OT games.
I always invest big money in lineman. Especially high injury rated ones. Never invest money in RB unless they are Generational. Think like Bill.
