Historic Correction : Jacques Cartier travel here in 1535 however they find a native village called Stadacone when the french came back in 1608 . the village of Stadacone was gone and Samuel de Champlain and Pierre Dugua du Mons founded l'abitation de Québec a wooden fort who will served as a Fur trade post until it was burn down to the ground in 1629 by the Irish Pirate the Kirke Brothers. Therefore 1608 is still the founded date of Québec City not 1535. However it would take a few year before became the biggest city in Nouvelle-France until the City fortress of Louisbourg in Nova Scotia.
