I'm living for this loft! This is one of my fave lots for industrial/warehouse builds. Those shells made it feel like you are really living in an apartment surrounded by city buildings.
Why do the game devs always use “flooring” in the world that doesn’t match to the game flooring choices... hate when the pavements or paths don’t match 😭😭 or am I just being useless?
I’ve noticed in my own game that sometimes those big lights from (I think) Get To Work can cause routing issues for my Sims. It’s the same thing with the Spa Day ones.
I started to watch your videos because I'm taking an english exam soon, so I thought I could practice the listening part and enjoy a nice Sims 4 video at the same time. Then I fell deeply in love with your charisma and your precious work, so here I am, a new subscriber.
Nice build, I really love this style of building. Also still salty we can't build our own apartments. This was like my favourite thing to do in the Sims 2...
I love how you used the rest of the lot to incorporate the build into the world! For the kitchen not working, have you checked the lamp hanging above? Those long ones, mainly if they are put at an angle rather than the default one (0, 45, 90 degrees etc.) can block paths for some reason. It has happened to me before. I had also resized though and it seems like you haven't done either.

This is amazing! Peacemaker is my absolute favorite he does maxis done right but LittleDica has definitely become a second favorite. I know you like more muted colors. So I can see why you love him. I like them but I love more bold colors and Peacey gives me both options. I can't wait for this to be uploaded. It's for sure going in my save.

There is probably nothing wrong with the kitchen. Another builder Simlicy had an issue where the sims couldn't use the stairs. Also a lot of her builds that had worked previously stopped working so I think it's a patch issue that the sims team needs to fix.
This happened to me too and I agree it has to be a glitch. The only way I got it to work was to put the fridge on a different wall than the counters/ cabinets by itself which stinks because now my kitchen looks so awkward lol
this reminds me of brooklyn heights, with the all the brick and the bridge in the back! i live really close to brooklyn but i haven’t gone in probably almost a year 😭 (thanks miss ‘rona)
Yes!! My first thought as well! In my millionaire dreams I own a gorgeous brownstone with a back yard in Brooklyn Heights 😆 I used to live in Downtown Brooklyn when I was in student housing. It was only a 20 minute walk to the Brooklyn bridge and 15 minutes to Brooklyn heights promenade. I walked into Manhattan only twice from my apartment and regret not taking advantage of it more. Once I graduated I had to move to Bed Stuy. I miss my walks through Brooklyn Heights but love my apartment now in a brownstone and the street art. I can hear the birds which is my favorite!
I think you’d really like Pierisim’s cc, he just started making content but the sets he has up right now (Tidying Up & Oak House part 1&2) are absolutely fabulous. Filled with little maxis match deco things like plants, a flour tin, a little sponge tray and dish soap bottle for a kitchen sink, a vintage radiator, an ironing board with slots for laundry and an iron he also included. Lots of cute stuff including beautiful furniture.
Sooo excited about Cyberpunk as well! Witcher 3 was done so well by those guys (I especially loved that they used Eastern European folklore for side quests), really excited to see what they come up with.
My dream home is a beautiful Victoria house... however, if I did live in a flat/apartment, I have always loved the idea of a converted fire station, with exposed brick etc. You did a great job 😊

Gorgeous build my darling! As for your kitchen problems I can think of 3 things: 1) Those HUGE ceiling lights, try sizing them down. 2) The shelves might be causing problems. 3) The elephant in the room (platform, the part where the bathroom is).
cdpr has gotten so much better with their storytelling (see the witcher dlcs, they were amazing and really raised the bar so damn high for dlcs) so my expectations for cyperpunk's characters and quests and wordlbuilding are over the roof. can't wait!
When I read somewhere that Anderson Cooper bought a renovated or renovated himself a fire station to live, my square self found it odd. Your build totally made me fall in lv with the idea 😍
I agree, the kitchen should be functional. I had a similar issue and had to remove the counter in front of the fridge for it to work. Beautiful build. Going to download it even though I don't have the cc - just hoping I can make it work.
I had the same issue with my kitchen the other day. The issue I had was because the cabinets above it were cutting into the fridge so it acted as a barrier to letting the sims open the door. As soon as I deleted the cabinets the sims could use it fine :) need this on the gallery ASAP it’s such a gorgeous build.

The landscaping was so good on this I didn't even know where you were in San Myshuna and I played a generation of my legacy family in a renovation of the Old Salt House. 😂 I thought I had enough cc until I saw that Little Dica bed. Time to go cc shopping! Great job on this loft as usual.

Yes! I can't wait for Cyberpunk too! It's been a painful 8 years of waiting. Just 20 more days to go. Also, the kitchen problem might have something to do with the platform being in close proximity. The platform is so glitchy. Try deleting the platform and see if it works.
This build is gorg!!! Just to say I fully understand that CC is super fun and glad to see it’s becoming more accepted. However it would be great to still see some builds without CC cos it does slightly exclude console users from using your lovely builds which is super sad :( amazing build as always hunny x
Figuring out where to put plants, I have that trouble daily.. I have over 60 plant children in a one bed house! My husband says it's like living in kew gardens 🤣
With the kitchen, I think the stoves are broken at the moment. I was building a brutalist house the other day, large spaces in the kitchen, NOT A SINGLE STOVE was working. Tried the harlix kichen, lil dica’s h&b, even milja maison x hel-studio’s courtyard set. All dead. Fridges all work fine though.
This looks absolutely amazing! Have you tried removing the shelves that are above the counters and then tested it? it could be possible they’re in the way but not sure 🤷🏻♀️
Oh man this looks so good! For the kitchen, no idea except maybe the proximity to the platform, they're glitchy af. And I really want to be more hyped for Cyberpunk but the whole crunch thing... really bothers me, honestly. I would rather a game be delayed (and I'm a Zelda fan, we're used to those!) than have employees having to crunch, y'know?

I like that we (finally) got platforms but they definitely don’t work properly.. I’m building a resort in Sulani and I wanted to get rid of that awful white ceiling in the lobby area and just have the roof, but guess what? The ceiling won’t go away on the part where I used platforms 🙃🙃🙃 I was fuming. Still am. ( great build as always!!)
Honestly so in love with this build 😍 It makes me sad that we won't get to play in it because the stupid Sims just had to have issues with the kitchen 🙄
One thing I've noticed with stoves is that sims will sometimes refuse to put things in/take things out of the oven if the stoves are walled in by surrounding counters facing sideways. It does look like there should be enough space in theory, but I don't think they can actually do some of the cooking animations with that amount of limited space. I don't know if that affects the fridge animations, though.
This place looks so awesome! It does remind me of the apartment in the film Ghosts, though it might just be the windows though! Regarding the counter issues, I did hear that the new Sims 4 update has caused some problems with mods - more so than usual, maybe its related to that?

i'm not sure if you've fixed the problem as i'm just watching this video now haha but maybe the kitchen counters don't function as counters, and therefore sims can't prepare food. That's happened to me with some CC!

I LOVE your builds I remember watching you years ago then I had a break and now I’m hooked on your videos again, I would love to be able to play on your builds like this but I play on ps4 and we can’t get CC. I know CC is extremely good and the creators of it are so talented but please be mindful that console players can’t get CC when your building so we can’t use your builds :( xx

I wish we could build wall by half tile it would give builds more depth.
