I did see Afia the first time I visited but she was hiding last time!! I love serval so I hope she'll be out enjoying her beautiful enclosure next time I come! Well done for the perseverance of all the team - especially in the awful weather you've had. That's a brilliant idea to build the cow barn. I hope they appreciate all the effort that went into building it!! Molasses 😋 Thank you for the video. It's pretty special being kept up to date with everything from a distance.
Another brilliantly informative video. Afia's new enclosure looks superb. Love seeing all the new construction and glimpsing behind the scenes. You all work SO hard for your animals. It's always a pleasure visiting ... love the place!
I love this. Many years ago me a my friend went to Hexham auction to buy a few chickens. My freind bought a long horn calf. I ended up driving whilst in the back was my friend with billy the long horn bull on his knee to his new home. He ended up a pet and grew enormous. So playful and happy. Only bad point was when hikers traveled through when he ran up to them stopping just before contact to have a stoke they normally would have took toilet in there pants 😂 bless billy only wanted to be loved. 👍🏻❤️
Hi, You people are really working hard with all of the new building, despite the dreadful weather you seem to be having. We are looking forward to seeing the serval on our next visit in May. Whoever has had to clean your highland cows will have had their work cut out. Who would have thought that molasses would have tempted one of them into the new house. Compliments to your Dad for the lovely work with the carving out for the gate hinges. Keep the videos coming I really do look forward to seeing what you have on offer each week.
Thank you for your kind comment, it has been really challenging. Afia will be well settled in by May for you to see! Highland cows are drying off nicely.. its going to be a long brush job! Thank you so much for watching and being with us for the journey ❤️
Red was so offended when you called him old! 🤣😳He likes it when I call him a handsome boy!!🥰So glad you’re moving your lovely serval. I talk to other visitors who don’t even know she exists, so this is great. Sending positive vibes to Fudge 🤞🏻🖤🌹
😂 Red totally understood english for a second there 🤦🏼♀️ but he’ll be moving over soon which will make Peaches oober-happy as she loves him. Afia will look fabulous in her new exhibit 😎
I almost feel embarrassed to keep praising you and your zoo family, but: A. You deserve it B. Your energy for the animal's wellbeing is fantastic C. You are constantly adapting as needed. Keep it up, and well done ya'll 👏 👏👏❤
Another great video (but sad about Fudge). Great to hear Afia is getting a new enclosure. We have never been lucky enough to see her on past visits so hopefully we'll see more easily next time. Have Jet and Jazz had haircuts? They were looking much fluffier when I last saw them ❤
I visited again on Tuesday and seen you all full of busy! Afia is quite illusive so will be nice to be able to look into her house! Poor fudge I thought it was sarcoids poor boy! I have a silvermoor treat coming direct from them for him! When I visited on Tuesday I noticed the little blue frog tapping their toes, I was wondering is that their way of communicating with each other?
It has been a super busy few weeks! Fudge is not in a good way it is really heartbreaking to watch as he is so young. Fingers crossed for this treatment 🤞yes! The finger tapping of the blue dart frogs is communication - it is very subtle so that is well spotted 🤓

We visited yesterday and saw him in his new home! Had a natter with your dad we think too Max. Lots of new stuff emerging, it all looks great!

Great video, the serval enclosure is looking good! Poor fudge! I hope he’s allowed out again soon ❤

Jett and Jazz naturally moult throughout the year and we groom them daily… it’s been awhile since they had a proper haircut!
