I use the suitcses with the bottles in it for mu spare srills. I have 4 purple suitcases with 120 bottles each for my round spare drills and 4 blue suitcases with 120 bottles for my square spare drills. Works good for me ;) .
@@diamondpaintingyoteun That sounds like a good system - I just don’t know if I would have room for 8 big cases. I have enough trouble finding room for my 3 boxes! 😂 Thanks for sharing!!

Hi Daphne, Even though I have been Diamond painting since early 2021, I can and will learn more by watching beginner videos. Thank you for the refresher.😊😊😊
Your organizational skills are phenomenal. I still find myself worrying I'll overdo it like I did with scrapbooking and 17 years later still trying to find a happy home for leftovers besides a landfill 😂. Thanks for all your time and suggestions ❤
I have been saving my spare drills and adopted your method of storing them in a box with hand made dividers and cards. So far it is working for me. I have not filled it completely yet. But it is coming along nicely.
Thanks for these ideas! I have done a couple of diamond painting projects since your videos popped up via the algorithm a couple of months ago. I did use some spares from my first project in my second one because I felt there was more sparkle needed than what the original kit had. I was wondering what to do with the rest of the drills, and I have heard of some folks doing what you have done with pouring the remaining drills into a jar. I might do that since I still have a lot of drills leftover from the two projects. Another idea I heard from Reddit was to give them to a children’s arts and crafts group at a library, which I thought was also a neat idea. I would like to maybe see a video though on, if you haven’t done this already, is ergonomics for diamond painting. I have spinal deformities, and it is hard for me to sit for long periods of time bent over diamond painting on a table. If you have any ergonomic tips and tricks that you could put into a video, that would be awesome! Thanks for this series though. It has helped a lot as a newbie how to get started in his hobby. 😄
@@AA-mm6wu Donating unused/leftover items is always great, I should have mentioned that as an option! I’m glad you found the series helpful. Thanks for watching!!
I agree with the idea of a video on ergonomics. I am disabled and am always looking for ways to make my diamond painting experience more comfortable and sustainable for long periods.
I keep my drills in a box but its a long box thats made to store baseball cards. I got it off of Amazon. I was using snack sized zip lock bags until I was watching your older videos and saw how you put this system together. I ordered the bigger sized storage bags that you discovered and I changed my bags out for those. I then used your templates and made dividers for my box. I love love love it. I do store my drills separately for different dye lots and different companies but I love it that way. I have some older DAC kits and I may end up needing those older drills one day. I want to get another box and do my round drills because right now I have one of those ArtDot 9 drawer storage boxes that are the tic tac type for my round drills. I may order another box and some more of the storage bags and redo my round system since I have some time off work. I keep it stored under a guest bedroom bed. Great video. I loved this series.
I know that some will eyeball the color and match that way. For me, if it doesn't have DMCs or a conversion chart, I toss them in my trash jar. Thanks for watching!!
A great ending to this series. I keep my extra drills in storage containers but want to switch them to the baggies in the box system. This will be a project for 2025.

saving drills saved my latest kit; I was missing a whole bag of one color. I had some of them in my saved drill stash! whew!

Have you done a rolling cart organization for diamond painting? I thought you mentioned it in a past video but i don't recall seeing it.
I haven't - although I may do something like that in the new place, depending on space. Thanks for watching!!
