Yep, I'm glad I stopped playing on Delta-Virgins when I did. I'm glad to have played there when admins weren't all obsessive losers. Remember guys, they do this for $0/hr, and if they had to make a game like this out of original thought without taking from what other people have made, they couldn't do it.
Too true if not for the ground work done by ss13 we wouldn't have these perma virgin servers, though to be fair ss13 has them but they tend to be low player count (goon) or they turn into such a hug box everyone leaves to somewhere conflict can actually happen. Which will probably happen to delta v at this pace
@@johnfrock7206 Man I would be on 13 if it played on linux well, getting it to work on wine is a crapshoot that I've accomplished all of twice. I play this game because I feel like it's the closest thing we have to a raw absurdity simulator, together with actual people and few gimmicks. Wizden and especially DV devs just do not *get* this, their whole lives are a desk job and that's what their idea of fun is. A big part of what makes 13 so great is that trolling to some extent is a core part of the experience, I'm a sec main and if nobody fucked with me I wouldn't play. Anyway, you know all this too, so that's enough of my ranting. At some point in the future I'm gonna post trolling vids, so keep an eye out for that.
I got permabanned for 'NITRP' in LRP apparently because I was breaking into departments, even though I have mainly interacted with people for the past 200 hours in Delta-V so I have no idea why NITRP would be invoked. that would've been an IC issue for sec to handle since it goes against space laws instead of being an OOC one.
It wasn't always like this. During the early days, before they rebranded to Delta-V, it was a lot more like /tg/station13 in that you were allowed to fuck around and find out. If a goober wanted to be a shitter, he'd just get gang lynched after enough, or if he managed to robust the whole sec team, then a legend was born and the sec mains learned some lessons. You were allowed to be good at the game.
