Excellent video. It's very well explained. Thank you. I notice your computers have some very nice specs. How much shopping around did you do to find your computer. Do you have any advice on where I can find the best deal on a new desktop for editing video?

I’ve built on my experience of using Filmora for many years. So I knew exactly what parts of the computer I wanted to improve. On all my previous computers I always ordered custom specked directly from Dell. This time I was unable to do that online. So wanted to speak to a knowledgeable person face to face. I chose to go to Micro City. I don’t know if they are a national chain or only local. But mainly I got a computer for the same price as if I had ordered it online.
If you go to a store not specializing in electronics you’re more likely to just get what they are carrying.
I spend a little more to future proof myself because I hate switching computers.
So I can’t recommend a specific store. I can only say take your time to figure out what you want and what you can afford.

    An INCREDIBLE video. !!
The issue i've had which started around march of this year after an update is the RENDER bar is not accurate. I've contacted support multiple times but no solution.
I can either let the program SELF RENDER (the timeline renders from red to green on the timeline) OR run the render manually but MANY times when it renders the entire thing (shows green the entire way) is suddenly either goes ALL RED (wasted the entire time rendering) or PARTS of the render go red again... GREEN........ RED... GREEN............................... RED...... GREEN.....................................................................................................
There are times I upload a 7 hours of Dashcam footage, render which could take 30mins or more and then after all them, suddenly 70% suddenly changes back to UNRENDERED or parts in the middle of the GREEN RENDER change to RED... only started like I said around March and never has fixed itself..

Use Instant Cutter tool to cut in half, if you can get a video that long to load into the Cutter Tool.
Whether Instant Cutter works for you or not, change the proxy file setting to a lower resolution. Make sure the setting to erase the proxy files when closing the project is turned off, so they don’t have to be recreated next time you open the project
