  • When you travel in Europe and maybe only have one day to experience each place, you face a dilemma: What shall you see, which places should you visit, to get the most out of your stay when your time is limited. You can explore the internet for the many Top 10 lists for each place and try to make a list for yourself. This is time-consuming and rather frustrating, so we have made these videos instead. In this series of videos from allthegoodies.com, we suggest a selection of great things to see and do, so you can make your own list much faster.
As a rule, our time has also been limited. We have only spent one day at each place as well and tested how much we can reach through. So if you feel we are missing something out, please add your recommendations in the comment area below.
In this video we visit Brussels which is both the capital of Belgium and Europe - and give you a list of 15 great things to do or see here
Our «10/15/20 Reasons to visit ...» series
When visiting a new city with a relative short amount of time, what should you see and do to get the most out of your stay? In our «10 Reasons to visit ...» series, we try to give travellers a short overview of what the place in focus has to offer.
When doing research in front of a visit, the Internet is flooded with annoying web sites selling packages, trips and guided tours. If you are like us and just want an overview, and then select for yourself what to visit, we hope our videos are useful. We will of course not cover all attractions and we are not local experts with inside information, but we try to give our users some tips. If you have more tips and additions, please use the comment field below to share.

The Grand Place is Wonderful, the Atomium is impressive, mini Europe is good, Galleries St.Hubert is worth a look, also ( not on here) the army museum is well worth a visit too. Good video, thanks

The tipps and explainations are good. But the intro is way too long and the pacing a little bit too slow.

Here's the real top tip, trust me. See the Grand Place. That will take you not more than an hour, then just head out of Brussels. Go to Bruges, or Antwerp or whatever. Staying the night would be a mistake. Forget the Atomium and the Mannekin Pis, absolutely not worth it.

I can assure viewers that this video doesn't offer a realistic representation of what one can expect in a one-day stay in Bruxelles.

Well, you can`t obviously walk through all the museums in one day and not spend a long time at each place - but we made this video over a period of 23 hours, arriving at Atomium at 1300 and leaving from the EU parliament at 1200 the next morning. If you arrive early in the morning and visit the EU parliament first - and only for a short time, you will have time to do this in one day, but it requires a lot of walking. We had a car, but there are a lot of Hop-on buses bringing visitors between Atomium and the city center. We will of course recommend to stay for a longer period to spend more time at each place. You can of course select some of these attractions and things to do and spend more time at the places that interest you the most.
