I am sorry but i noticed you looked less prepared for this video :p i am sorry if it sounds offensive... but... just saying that your pauses make it look dubious :p
What move did Petrosian put in that envelope? Will Fischer take that pawn?? Join us on the next edition of PowerPlayChess!
Fischer showed his class of chess and ingenious in a strategic, positional , closed game against master of closed, positional GM, Former world champion, Petrosian.
Woow! Never heard of a video being adjourned. Loving it!
Interesting idea to split the game pre and post interval. Possibly a way forward to tell some of the longer yet still interesting games?
Look forward to part 2.
Finally an high level commentary of a Fischer's game. Congrats.
How nice to hear you mention Yuri Averbach. I visited him in his flat in Moscow in 1994 or so. I have a lot of chess books. He had a larger number of books he'd written! We played some games, ending one with YA as W having 2Ns and 3Ps and me (B) having 2Ns and 2Ps. He won! Wonderful wise gentleman.
I played him in NY in 1990. Afterwards he said that the last time he played the opening variation was in 1963 - the year I was born...
Ha! He was there doing a solid job in the legendary 1953 Zurich Candidates - the year before I was born!
Yuri Averbakh one of the foremost chess endings experts in history.
Excellent comprehensive analysis of this important match game in part one. Look forward to seeing part two.
You have such a wonderful gift for explaining complex chess ideas! Thanks for this and for the adjournment. Much appreciated...
Thanks Dan!
I’m not having Nxb2. Literally everything I thought I understood is wrong... great vid Danny, as ever. Thoroughly enjoying this series
Thank you Dan, for the intermission
Klasse Video erneut Daniel, freue mich auf Teil 2!
Love these classic matches.
Love Your Channel GM King! 😃💯👍👑👋
Excited for part 2
Can't wait!
Nice to know Yuri is still alive, a world class player in the 50s
Looking forward to part two!
Fascinating stuff.
Wow, surprising "ending" to that game!
Nice. Now we have cliffhangers in chess too :))
A RUclips ajournement...brilliant! It's funny that you felt the need to explain what that is.. I agree with you explaining it mind you.... Shows how old I am!! :D
Would be nice if you could go through that Petrosian v Korchnoi 1971 Game 9. It was given in a book by C.H.O.'D. Alexander, 'The Game of Chess' that I used to have years ago!
Loving this series! So much drama
I thought it was messed up that they cut your hand off for saving Lady Breanne . :) thxxxxxxx for the lessons!
Always love your videos.
Daniel with a cliffhanger there :)
Fischer hingegen erschien in vortrefflicher Verfassung.....
Fine said Petrosian was playing for adjournment so his seconds could bail him out. Fischers second, Larry Evans had gone home complaining he had nothing to do.
What a teaser! ;)
Who is a player who didn’t like playing with a space advantage?
In this case, Petrosian.
@@PowerPlayChess Indeed... here's another one: www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1069975
Cliffhanger😉👍🏽
b3 is the convicts opening 😁😂
A real cliffhanger!?
Petrosian refused to admit that Fischer's prep was better than the big red machine's.
It´s interesting to hear you say that "Fischer liked space". I saw a lecture by Jesse Kraai some time ago that argues pretty much the opposite ruclips.net/video/Qxsgy6dsZjE/видео.html
And incidentally, he analyzes this very game!
For me as a spectator, getting different opinions on the same subject like this is fascinating!
It was a mouse slip
How dare you keep us in suspense, you sir, are a very bad man 😄
The suspense is terrible. I hope it lasts.
First 😂😁
Chesstrify We're all very proud of you 😜
@@DrMattBug well, i am proud of me, Its a good day to be alive!
