Blizzard is starting to be comparable to The Simpsons For me "Zombie Blizzard" starts after the release of Diablo 3, in 2012. Eleven years. And the "first crack" or the "Season 8" would be in 2007 when Burning Crusade retconned a bunch of lore and for the first time ever, Blizz didn't care too much and just told everyone to roll with it. Well actually it overtook the Simpsons I think. With all its modern gaming hellscape of monetization and bs practices, it's past the "Zombie" stage already. When was that? Overwatch 2? Diablo Immortal? Still pretty recent.
As a former employee, i can confirm Blizzard is dead for over a decade... for me the timeline starts after WotlK back then Mike and co already lost any saying and we restructured corporate...

2:55 I may have seen this, but definitely forgot about it, cause I care so little about present Blizzard. This easily could've been Raynor and Kerrigan, they at least use guns in their own game. But, you know, Starcraft is a dead franchise, so no point in cross-promoting something that can't be milked for money.
Don't mention Diablo 1 and 4 in the same sentence. My whole time playing Diablo IV I was thinking: "The Hell Mod just got an update for Diablo 1, despite playing many, many thousands of hours with Diablo 1, I would rather play that than D4.".
I'm not saying it's perfect, but I think you're underestimating Voice AI. With a good enough sample, you'd be surprised at the range you can pull off. Elevenlabs is great at this, for example. But yeah, it does take some patience and retries. I'm not saying the guy had it easy making this at all.

1) Blizzard (they were at the top of PC gaming, among the absolute best ones we had)
2) Rare (they were the Blizzard of console gaming, for a time)
3) Westwood Studios (Command & Conquer franchise, basically; this one is bias and nostalgia but whatever, they were amazing to me)
But there are studios that were born ;-)
And good ones!
The three rulers of hell: The lord of Microtransactions, Avatar of Bugs and King of Error 37
I remember how i used to play a lot of Lich King with my older brother over a decade ago. He showed me the ropes to WoW as i was new at it. He showed me all of his maximum level characters too which i thought made him the coolest brother ever. One day, he came up to me and said: "Here's my account login and password, you are free to do whatever you want". Ever since then i'd been on a solo adventure throughout all of the expansions until BFA where i finally quit. And honestly... i don't even wanna share my experience of the game with him, not even its' current state.
Blizzard is starting to be comparable to The Simpsons
For me "Zombie Blizzard" starts after the release of Diablo 3, in 2012.
A century? Lol
@@thalanothdecade my bad not native english but jokes aside im still in the SC2 and D3 credits... besides me messing up century/decade the rest is accurate :D
i pretty much bursted out laughing till i couldnt breath when he started by saying blizzard is dead🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
honestly, if they came out with a speech like this to come out about their goal to monetize things as much as possible, it would be more acceptable.
That Circuit City drop was funny lol
These videos are so good.
I guess Blizzcon has abandoned the convention part of the title.
All that's left, is Blizzard's Con for your money.
Living up to the word Con.
are you buying the next blizzard game i absolutely am not
I didn't bought D4 nor OW2 ;-)
"Can he get DMCA'd for this?" Yes he can. It happened to me with my "the moment diablo died at blizzcon" video that had like 8 million views lol.
This is epic! 🤣
Cant believe i even paid for the first battle pass, as a 31 year old gamer it was the first and only battlepass ive ever bought, depending if you count BF4 premium, Only got a few levels on there and left. GG blizzard you got my money but you will burn in Diablo's flames.
"boring and overly complicated at the same time" got me.
3:45 Asmongold: "No, it's not a meme guys. They really did this."
Me: "Why not both? Two things can be true." 🤣
the editing is so good
Can anyone link the moment pls when they announced Diablo3 PvP? This magic moment the crowd get out of control, legends were born in this moment. Cant find the vid anymore, searched it several times now.
The number 4 seems to be a cursed number for beloved games series
