@@kyleellis9177 Marvel was more famous for building off characters with more human natures. For example, Spiderman. Spiderman is someone more relatable as a human being than Batman or Superman. The oppression struggle of the X Men is similar as well.

Is this debatable? Stan Lee wanted his individual heroes to have real world problems outside of being idealistic superheroes. Marvel tackled very difficult adult topics like murder, domestic abuse, depression, alcoholism, even the X-men are an allegory for societal racism & hate.
The movie "Days of Future Past" was a wonderful movie to watch. I actually saw that in a drive-in movie theaters with my siblings and we smuggled in a pizza and some drinks. It was a great night for all of us.

Aight so i think the spiderman reign story needs a lil more justice. I still have the graphic novel and it is still one of my fav stories. I think the biggest reveal was who the mayor really was. That and the final confrontation with the sinister six. It was bleak but def had alot more to offer.
I never found Marvel to be the lighter one honestly. In movies yeah I think Marvel is lighter but I always found their comics to be darker than DC’s, that’s just my opinion. And I love DC so much but when people say it’s a dark and gritty universe I only imagine they refer to the Batman and JL Dark universes.
We need the Zombieverse in live action but considering how things are going, they'll find a way to mess it up. I'll just stick to dramatic reading online.
