I've just finished to see this wonderful video and it took me back in time.Now I'm 48 years and from 6 to 30 ,I've studied classical and modern dance but unfortunately, I haven't undertaken a dancer career because my parents said me that through the dance do not eat so I stupidly chose an other work.Dance is and will be always in my heart infact for example now I practice bodybarre 4 times a week and my body,thanks to past dance workouts,is slim,muscle and tonic infact I seem 15 years younger.Thanks Cuba,thanks dance and congratulations to tha dancers all over the world.❤❤❤❤❤
Treating them as athletes first with exercises specifically aimed at the movements on stage is pretty darn smart in my book. Also encouraging them to find their own spirit to determine HOW they will move on stage is so liberating mentally. No wonder Cuban dancers have so much stamina and passion, it's drilled into them!
Beautiful training and great video. The students get a chance to immerse themselves in dance. I am curious to know what age the students in the video are and how does that training co exist with academics?
I study ballet in the vaganova method and it's so weird (to me) see how the arms are positioned and other thing very different from the vaganova method! Anyway, these guys are very good✨
keep in mind it is a different school or way from Vaganova, which is not the only ballet school or method, same as italian, french, english, danish, they all have the same foundation but are different and distinct.
I have the opportunity to study the 6 versions of the Cuballet in Brazil, I hope someday to join in the Cuballet in Cuba. Saludos maestra Laura y maestra Lourdes.
Question to the Sr Pablo Menendez on this video. Great question. But, when Cuba will change for the Cuban people and give them more freedom of speech and respect their humans rights ???? Hmmmm can you answer that ???? Free real elections and Democracy , when ???? Why so many thousands and thousands of young Cubans, inclusive dancers are living the nation ????
Pues si viste el documental veras vienen muchos bailarines a estudiar en el pueblucho ese! Nada que disfrutar ? Tiene algo lindo que entre tanta humildad y un barrio tan feo lls niños puedan disfrurar de una escuela y aprendan algo de cultura.
Horror me lo presentía que Heras una bruja , ellas nunca faltan cuando ven tanta belleza , ese barrio es más bonito , decente , culto , respetuoso , inteligente , talentoso. Luchador que seguro donde estas , los como tú envidiosos que no aprecian las cosas valiosas siempre merodean la GLORIA de los que trabajan para lograr sus sueños y objetivos más preciados , valiosos sin perjudicar a los demás ni imponérselo si desarrollar su vocación , aptitudes al aprender una carrera tan difícil , cara competitiva , llena de diferentes escuelas , para ellos la más novedosa , exitosa , en los múltiples grandes escenarios del MUNDO en nuestros muy gloriosos días , han llegado a la Universidad Universal de la DANZA CUBA en ese barrio FEO según tú , LLENO DE PROMESAS FUTURAS . ES UNA ESCUELA DE GRANDES QUE IMPARTEN CONOCIMIENTOS A TODO EL QUE LO SOLICITE ES CUBA PAIS DE SUEÑOS ARTISTICOS UNIVERSALES ............... ....... ( Gracias ) ..............................
