I think it’s great. But i dont understand why they don’t fix up their other rink in Fremont. It hasn’t changed in 25 years. They even give all the old glass from the San Jose rink to the Fremont rink. You cant even see through it well. My son plays for the Santa Clara Blackhawks out of the Fremont rink. But the San Jose jr sharks are the ones who get all the good stuff even though the rinks both have the same ownership.
This is fantastic news. My kids grew up in the 90’s early 2000’s when “Logitech” (still a better name than S4A, imho) was 2 sheets and then expanded to 3. Hockey in NorCAL was in it’s infancy but even then with the impact of the Sharks we had some amazing teams and incredible players. Opportunity was expanding, but it seemed at a snails pace. A move to SoCal in 2003 for us and it was like a different world with more teams, more competition (more travel, ugh) and more buzz around hockey (more $$ and parents w/$$) and I realized how far behind we really were in SJ. Been back home in SJ since 2011, got my Sharks season tix back and have been loving the expansion of hockey here. I think if you include Canada, 8 rinks in Vancouver may still be bigger, but having a super-complex like the new S4A rinks can only serve to expand the greatest game on earth. Kudos to the City Council for approving and for all those who, like yourself, continue to support and further the opportunities for young and old. Oh, and Go Sharks! Go Barracuda!
Wow this is fantastic fantastic news for so many reasons!! Will defff help grow the game, and will drastically improve the ice quality for the Sharks SAP games 👍👍 Brodie btw man, I gotta say I totally loved your live “performance” last night trying to “guess” players’ individual goal songs 😂😂👍👍 seriously was hilarious, totallllly worth it and honestly, you don’t have a bad voice at all! IMHO - that took some STONES to even *attempt* that on TV like that.. ended up being a totally hilarious & “DGAF” moment/segment..! My respect level for you definitely grew quite a bit after seeing that! Well done my dude, well done 👍👍
Their AHL team should be in Sacramento or Oakland. I get it's nice having the farm team close, but those two cities still are close and this way you spread the game to more communities. Everyone in SJ will want to go to sharks games and will only go to baracuda games to save money. Sacramento or Oakland don't have any hockey
Well who gives a fuck whether the ahl team gets a new arena or not I mean I’m sure some do but damn I was excited at first but that went away very quickly !
Solar4America ice... is the most important hockey rink(s) in San Jose... for purposes of growing the game. crazy as that might sound, I think it's true.
What do you think about the new Barracuda arena?

When I first saw this, I thought you mean new SAP center
Same lol
Thanks for mentioning Monterey. Water City Hockey!
thanks for listening!
Monterey Barracuda would have been unbelievable -- would love seeing ice hockey in my hometown!
I wish a team would come to Sacramento.
Always thought it would be a good idea to move them to sac

I was getting hyped for a new sharks arena, would be a positive since our season has been a bust but i guess this is equally a good situation

@@brodiebrazil i agree
sounds great....perhaps they will be better than the ringless sharks.
This is great! No more doubleheaders, so to speak. Ice won't be chewed up as much.
