    Would love to see a video about shoulder injury prevention and other tennis injury prevention, since I love your racquet reviews and given your background as a strength and conditioning coach. Great channel! Thank you!

    Hi Andy. Thank you for your great reviews. I hope you can make some tennis competition and footwork-specific fitness videos soon.

    Thanks for another thorough review Andy. I demoed the XTC about a year ago and found the launch angle very challenging, too low netting a lot of balls I wouldn't have thought I'd miss. I can only think the trouble I'd have with the RS. None of these issues with the TF40 where similar hefty swingweight and even tighter string pattern hasn't been an issue. The feel of the TF40 is incredible so if that was a point of comparison the bar is set quite high. No surprise TF40 is my racquet of choice. Look forward to your 18x20 overview.

    Great review Andy, though frankly, just by looking at your shots, you look like you were struggling with the racquet. I'm not sure I would put it down to the frame. I think it's a string sensitive frame and the 18x19 pattern requires a fuller swing and a lower tension. And I completely agree with you, given the excessive balance towards the head, it's a recipe for arm trouble if strung too tight.

      Hi, thanks and yes totally agree. When I played with the xtc I used black widow at 50 lbs and that worked well. In watching my footage it was noticeable to me too that I was not swinging as I do with my racket of choice. With the right strings and set up, the RS is a good racket, but only for the right people. Appreciate you watching the channel and the comment, thank you.

    Another great review, Andy! One thing you missed, tho, is how the beam in the rs is 0.5mm wider than the XTC. This, I believe, throws off the perfectly balanced characteristics of the XTC even more than its stiffer RA, making it a bit overpowered.

      @@tenniseuphoria5012 Funny thing 'bout beam width: the smallest change has a huge effect because it's spread over a large surface area.

    Andy, thanks for the review. I just got the T40 305... ( I was considering the tflight 305rs)... I find the T40 to be a bit head heavy, so in that regard the two racquets are similar. How do they compare in your judgement. Thanks, John

    • @tenniseuphoria5012
      @tenniseuphoria5012  3 года назад +2

      Hi John, thanks for the comment. I think there is better control and a nicer feel from the tf40. I think you notice the head heavy nature in the r s more than the tf40 to be honest so suspect you will find the same. Hope that helps. Andy

    • @raychong6466
      @raychong6466 3 года назад

      Is the t40 305 really less head heavy feeling? I am torn between the two and I’m most concerned about the head heavy feeling which makes the racquet sluggish. The 360+ head speed was only 300g but for some strange reason felt so head heavy and sluggish especially at net.

  • @johnnacke140
    @johnnacke140 3 года назад

    Andy, you really loved the XTC; the RS , not so much. I’m looking forward to your next review. I have a feeling that the T40 is your racquet of choice. Did you add weight to ge handle to make it more head light? Anyway, I will wait for your next review before sending the T 40 back...I’m a senior player, one-handed backhand , minimal spin, mostly flat.... interesting, that tennis nerd prefers the Rs... stay safe! John

    What is your personal racket? I always find it helpful when reviewers mention their own racket so we can better understand what it is compared to.
    I'm using this racket and love it. I just struggle to find the right string. Reason I don't like sharp shaped strings is that the edges are gone after an intense set. You said you have used the Back Code, have you also tried the Razor Code?

    • @tenniseuphoria5012
      @tenniseuphoria5012  3 года назад +1

      Hi there, yes I have tried Razor code and I have to say I much prefer it to black or ice code. There is a video on my channel about my racket of choice - the process of choosing one. I have also reviewed it on the channel, it is the Head Graphene 360 + Prestige MP. Hope that helps

    The only good thing about this racquet is the head size / sweet spot which is big for a 98. Apart from that this racquet is garbage. A step in the wrong direction by Tecnifibre who just seem to be trying to copying Babolat (which isn't a good thing).

    • @googlereviewer1944
      @googlereviewer1944 3 года назад +1

      I wasn't a fan of this racquet either - they made it stiffer and ruined the feel. I thought the XTC version was better.

    Great job on reframing your on camera shots! Looks great. One more tip. Please don't take this as criticism, because I'm a subscriber and a big fan of your channel. One tip, I'm pretty sure there is no word "orient-tate-ted" (spelling is for pronunciation purposes). The proper pronunciation is "orient-ted" (again, spelling is for pronunciation purposes). Look it up, in case I'm wrong. See this video for the British English pronunciation: ruclips.net/video/iPhKaOqxi1s/видео.html
