      Glad to hear! 😅 Today (Monday) the weather looks kind of bad everywhere unfortunately, but tomorrow and for the rest of the week it should be very good on the coast (Grasse seems to be more cloudy unfortunately, sometimes it’s crazy how the weather can be so different just a few kilometres apart). Anyway, enjoy discovering more of the area! 🤩

    Since I've seen beautiful "Rue dÁntibes" in Cannes, I decided to watch few days ago a video about Antibes, so I did .😇 Hoping that the ongoing war in Eastern Europe won't widen to other parts of Europe and ends now; I believe Antibes is my kind of place and also it's between Cannes and Nice .
    Keep having fun ladies .👋

    Antibes is one of the cities located on the French Riviera in France. Although it is mostly known for its coast, it extends to the hills inland.
    During the summer months, it is crowded and French families are the majority. In the evening, you can dine at open-air restaurants in the old parts of Antibes and in Juan les Pins. The city is a fun place for a relaxed holiday.

    I love your videos so much, thank you for your hard work! There is just one thing I'm wondering: What about the toilets? I would love to do that 2h Cap walk, but I need 1h there anyway from the center and I don't know how to handle 3h without toilet. Is there some kind of toilet on the cap tour? Thank you!

    • @rivierago
      @rivierago  5 месяцев назад

      I don’t think there is a public toilet anywhere, unfortunately. There are cafes though (at Plage de la Garoupe beach, the starting point), you might ask them or have a little refreshment or even just an espresso to justify using theirs. That’s what we do mostly.

    Great video with some wonderful highlights. I'm really looking forward to visiting Antibes at the end of May! One small point though - F Scott Fitzgerald wrote The Great Gatsby 12 years before he wrote Tender is the Night. It was Tender is the Night that was inspired by Antibes, not Gatsby.

    Here another question... We are taking the train from Nice to Antibes. Is it a far walk to the city or do we need a taxi to see the beach and the city of Antibes? And as always thank you so very much for your excellent tips! Greetings, Sandra.

    • @rivierago
      @rivierago  5 месяцев назад

      Hey, from the train station in Antibes to the port, then old town you can easily walk. The beaches on that part of the town are also right there. If you want to get to the cape or the western side of Antibes (Juan-les-Pins, more pretty beaches, many beach restaurants) you‘ll need a taxi or bus. But start off walking to the port and old town! 😊
