Take your air box tube mount it to carb then have it facing the side or if you can make a U in it have it facing the way your drive and it will add more revs it’s like a mini turbo when your riding , my stock spree goes 40 and I didn’t big bore it or change gears belt or speed pully like everything is stock and it goes hella fast and it revs to the moon like where doge coin should be at 🚀
Honestly haven't gotten much use out of it because the clutch gave out on the scooter. Once i figure out a new clutch or retrofit I'll try and make a video
I tried that on mine but it didn't last long. I. Sure it will still turn on and all but the clutch is toast. Also I'm not even sure if they're still making these kits bc i haven't seen them on eBay where i bought it from. Maybe another company makes them or something?
Yoyoyo.... did you do some of dat portin' and polishing squishy band port match high compression head thingy stuff to dat motor? Ooh wee, be pullin' wheelies when you do! Gnome-sayin'?
I think the seller might be out? I just checked on my recent purchases in ebay and the item isn't there. This is the seller though but this is a stock top end kit from the same seller as the one I got my BBK from www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Spree-NQ50-41mm-Piston-Kit-stock-1984-1987-/224322576897?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286
The problem is the stock Spree intake is not big enough to handle a BBK. You can change out that carb all you want, you'll just be wasting your time. What you'll need to do is port the intake. The stock intake's opening is too small to allow proper flow from the venturi. When you have a small opening like the Spree, what this does is creates too much vacuum. You can think of sucking air through a straw .vs sucking air through an empty toiler paper tube. Anyways, when this vacuum is too tight, the fuel coming in from the carb (and it doesn't matter what carb) will run lean. Expect that piston to blow on you if you don't correct the issue. Fix that, and you SHOULD BE getting revs and HP somewhere close to mine: ruclips.net/video/U1MUmUUJbbs/видео.html
I put a big bore kit in and jet in the carb and it kept soft seizing. I never figured it out. Its weird to think an air restriction causes lean but if flow is restricted then so is air velocity?

No i just threw the kit on. Wasn't really planning on keeping this engine too long anyways.
Where did you find this kit for sale? Can’t seem to find one anywhere
I'm not sure if it's being made any more I've tried looking myself for it but i can't find it anymore either 😔

How’s it ride?
It rides really good honestly. The only issue now is the clutch went out on it 😓
My spree is doing the same damn thing and the carb is new too. Was it coming from the drain of the carb?
Yeah I think the floater is what got stuck
Ever figure it out?
Something to do with the carb for the iddle issue but the other stuff was the clutch going out
Sand it all down
@@SchleighSimeon I tried that but it's still not gripping like it should

That makes sense maybe I'll look at some intake upgrades or just port this one
That and the pipes get clogged. Stick a hand torch in both sides till it stops smoking. Then knock it around to let the carbon to fall out.

I got a clutch I could sell
You have intake issues, read my tutorial: hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=34653
Check your float level, seems like it is running way too rich. Also if gas is coming out the overflow you definitely have a float issue
