- I've been looking to collect many of the discs I sold off when I first started my business, so a friend offered me a great deal on some CDs he had doubles of.
My goal is to absorb and learn more of my craft from this curated haul. Feel free to let me know what are some of your favorites, and which I should listen to first ! Thanks for watching !

Which disc should I listen to first ?
Cinema Show is in my top three Genesis songs. Abacab is my favorite 80s album. Self titled is a soft spot for me. I was a young kid and so loved them then bigtime.
I'll look forward to your Genesis video, Ian. I'm a long time fan who has never listened to the 80s albums.
Ian, I’m so glad you are digging the haul! That Kate Bush collection is most beautiful, but since I picked up the box set This Woman’s Work, I’m glad to get them to a good home. On The Sensual World, check out “Never Be Mine”, a most intense track with Eberhard Weber on bass.
I have all of Cobham records. Fantastic writer. Total Eclipse is essential.
The Lamb is my fav. Then Selling England a close second.
Much great music! Hackett is quality, but not all always my cup if tee. I have appreciated his recent years Genesis revisted live material (other than the Albert Hall album being fairly hard on the base, but it also has John Wetton on some of the vocalsl.
Another good Cobham album is Crosswinds.
Can Utility. When the bass pedals kick in on the remaster. Aw yeah. Love that tune.

Sorry for filling up your comments section. Haha. CDs. I have some from the 80s that are now failing. Oxygenation can hurt. Certainly with cdrs. Many of my old ones are failing too. Certain brands hold up and others don’t. Bummer.
I’m lucky (knock on wood) have never had that problem to date ! I also am careful about reading descriptions and seller feedback. My discs are kept in a humidity controlled environment protected by a dehumidifier 😊
@@ShedSoundsMediawithIanBeabout Mine too. I get a lot of browning around the edges and inner areas now. I'll send ya a pic of what it looks like.
Mainly issues with discs from 'budget' labels here. I rip all my purchases losslessly as back up (normal rip + cd image rip to have an exact 1:1 copy).
Servo needs to calm down with his spending. Hahaha.
He saved up his Crünchums for this one. 😂
