This appears to be absolutely identical to the Andoer GT-V70. It is also sold under a couple of other names. All of them are cheaper 'clones' of the Glide Arm. They can be motorised using a stepper motor.. that really improves their ability to deliver smooth and constant motion.
It looks exactly like the andoer GTV 70 that i've tested a few month before:-D The ballhead is pure trash, so that i've canged it. But i'm absolutely happy with the slider itself
I'm using a Zomei tripod because the legs can spread out a little wider for more stability, but it should fit on most tripods. You just need to make sure you're using a 3/8" thread instead of 1/4".
Great vid - you had me sold when you panned the Cape Fear (stayed at Riverview Suites a couple of years ago)!

Are there any tutorials or guides on how to use a stepper-motor with this rig? Or could you possibly offer some insight? Thanks!
I'm really curious about the parabolic mode. What distance from the tripod does the slider need to be at, say... 50mm focal length?
Added to my favorites, thank you !!!!!

What kind of tripod are you using? My school owns one of the Axler sliders, but we can't use it because it won't fit any of our tripods.

Excellent review. Well explained, no fluff. I’m a busy man. Thanks.
Cool!
Where can I get this slider?
Quiet, easy to control with remote.
