    Amazing--and I didn't realize until the very end that you were making a lamp, with a shade made of bark! There's no woodworking channel on youtube quite like yours. Your pieces are truly one of a kind. Master craftsman!

    However much I really enjoy Oliver’s work and ideas, in a upside down world, I’ve just witnessed, as an electrician, the worst lampshade as demonstrated by Oliver on a beautiful stand. I’m completely baffled. As an art piece, we’ll done

    Please flip the bark shade. was kind of hoping to see the lamp shade either way. With little space between the body I think would have had a cool effect and maybe even a colored light. Really awesome. Couldn't figure out what you were doing first but what a really good idea and I'm glad it worked out

    Unusual to see a live edge in such a perfect complete shape. Great idea to have used it as a lamp shade and the actual stump as the base👍🏼
    Isn't a bit too top-heavy though

      On the contrary, that base must weigh a ton. He didn't hollow it out, just made a hole for the stem and wires.

    Ora non fa più lavori, perché è affetto da Alzheimer e non si ricorda più come si lavora il legno, ma quando tu fai i video, glieli faccio vedere e dice che sei un GENIO...ed ha ragione!!!🤩

    I love this so much.
    I can't remember at what point I knew this was going to be a lamp.
    Probably the small hole at the bottom of the base lol. Some ppl prolly knew from the moment you made the shade fitting. 🤗
