I installed gutters professionally for several years in an area that has very similar seasons. Those nails always pop out from the ice expanding and the screw in the back won't hold weight. 100% the best option is something called a "K clip or K hanger". It's a hanger and screw all in one. They give the gutter rigidity and will keep it from popping out. It should only be a few bucks to buy them and you don't need to take the gutters down to install them if you go one at a time. Get a little torpedo level and set it in the gutter as you screw them in to make sure it has a little slope, you really don't need much.
Awesome seeing your videos being shown to more people on here. Just glad I came across you and your channel Diego. I enjoy watching very much and look forward to the future of it all.
Looks good, a lot of hard work. God Bliss you with endless riches. You will get the supplies you need or the financing for your shed. And all your other projects in the future. Keep up the amazing drawings. Congratulations on the opportunity to build a house. The first of many opportunities. Keep up the amazing work. God Bliss you. Have the greatest day ever, love and peace. And so it is.
I live in the North East. We use leaf filters. Love the drive brother. Ex-Air Force myself. Keep the channel going it motivates and makes me think. Thank you Diego
You could put snow stops at various points over the whole roof instead of all the weight of the snow resting along just that one closest to the gutter. They’re usually installed in an alternating pattern over the entire roof.
Please. When you speak. Leave the music. A lot of people with hearing probleem will love you for it. And I love the sound of mother nature. Keep up the good work. Marja from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Diego, you might find that 2 lots of snow guards will work better. If you run another set halfway up the roof, it will put a break in the snow slide. Xx
Just found your RUclips channel and have been binge watching for a couple days. Very entertaining. My compliments on each of your projects, but I especially love the genuinely kind way you have worked with you neighbor to help each other out. You both have a special relationship that rings true that made me smile. It’s the way it should be. Looking forward to seeing your work in the future. Jim
Find your videos verry emjoyable o watch. Have also learned some things from you. Paint - Tremglad is meant for metals, is oil based making much more reliient one coat ususally does the job, Comes in Flat and High Gloss, I have tried various mixing,,,,,1 gallons flat and one quart high gloss gives a low lustre or semi gloss, You gutters.....put screens over the down spouts to hold back leaves, oine needles to avoid the down spout and the drainage from plugging up. There are mesh type screens which can be put ofer the eaves, All the best
If you do add rocks, make sure they don't touch the cabin wall. So any moisture can at least evaporate, rather than "sit" between the rocks and the siding.
What stops the french drains from getting full of dirt and debris, stops the gutters from getting pligged and when u have to clean below as stuff builds up in those hard connected pipes. I was hoping i was gonna see fabric and stone and perforated?
Hey I don’t know if you noticed but you get so many more views posting off grid in the title especially with al lol I just came from the almsot 1 million viewed video.
Wood Shed - MAybe, instead of using bought lumber, use the surrounding trees [fallen] for the frame. You have the machinery to create planks, table saw, so could be another project....?
When you have all the raingutters and it rains often, why do you not make a little Pont to cumulate the rain. You can make is nice in the coming years with plant. Flowers and fish. But it comes handy if there is a fire ore to water your flowerplant.

You've got a great place there, to relax and unwind. Im envious.
Moved the rocks several times ! LOL ! I think a wheel barrel would help out a lot.

Enjoy your videos!!
Wouldn't it have been preferable to replace the fascia with say a 10" board, or something else than stopping the snow from fluffing off?

Sorry if I missed it but are you going to do water collection from this aswell?
See you on the next one 🙃🙂
No cleanouts anywhere on the drainpipes?
Tell me about your watch, looks nice.
just curious why you didnt just run gutters on the entire length of the garage and sloped them out to the back?

The Chanel drains look good against the garage
Perhaps gutter guards will help you from debris accumulating in them, and you won't need to clean them when it gets filled with debris.
Woodshed?!
You better patten your design before someone copies it and makes a fortune off it. 😁
Patent < correction
💯

I think you need more guttering rather than that French drain, the French never made things that worked lol
Like seeing video
Funny haha Diego sorry but I don't see you being a big baby😂😊
Do you got a water heater, air conditioner, solar panels, and rain barrel? No wild animals in your area?
