@@LEHNBNN_CHEL_LNCA1448 Yeah but scapular doesn't greatly protect you from losing deal chance and forces you to be low on health for curse rooms (although it's amazing at sacrifice rooms)

Scapular is definitely underrated but I don't think Mantle is overrated. Mantle is one of the best items in the game, and getting it for The Lost makes it go from one of the hardest characters to one of the easiest immediately. It saves you so much trouble in the longrun especially if you get it early when you'd be less powerful, and especially compared to most other non-Q4 Angel items, meaning it shouldn't be any lower than Q4.
Ok Lets go to a real comparation:
Holy mantle:
Good for everthing character, especialy Keeper, Tainted Keeper and Tainted Jacob.
Is very usefull in most variable situation, like enter to curse room, protect from losing devil/angel deal chance, open spike chest.
Is very usefull and versatile item.
Scapular:
Works only in character it have red hearts (except Bethany) or soul hearts. Doens't work in Lost, Tainted Lost, Keeper and tainted Keeper.
Is VERY POWERFULL item in a specific sitiuation, like in sacrifice room, devil Beggar (If you have a form to taken damage) and some op combos.
But let's be honest, scapular only work good in this moments, and you need lost all you soul hearts and hit down to a half heart, And in Womb and after this is very dificult to down to a half heart and you dont want loses all you life for triggered the escapular.
The Winner from this "battle" is...
Holy mantle (My opinion)
Holy mantle is more versatile and dont need other items or room, and is not a limited item.

i do not see a lot of love for champion nelt. now, it aint something special, but a damage up in the shop item pool is insanely great if you are down on your luck in a run. the increased champion chance is really subtle and after womb the only thing thats really threatening is the exploding variants which are infrequent
Ipecac isnt as good as some people try to say it is, it deals a lot of damage but at the cost of not being able to get cool tear sinergies like flat stone (I mean you CAN get them but its a suicide), and their sinergies arent even good, it only adds an explosion effect that is gonna be more annoying than useful unless you can get a good spacing, dont get me wrong its very good, but not the peak some players say it is

Holy mantle should NOT be a tier 4. Maybe 3 just because of the unique effect that it gives, as well as it being activated every room. 4 is overrated.

Holy mantle is overrated because it is useful but for most characters it’s not as helpful as most people think
Free cursed rooms, be Able to keep perfection also with red/ blue/ money health, don’t lose devil/angel deals. It is the most underrated quality 4.

@@KayhosYT well I main lost (yes, T. Lost too) and keepers, scapular is worse bcs u can't use it on every character while mantle is for every single one (beside T. Lost) so logically, mantle is a bit better as you can use it on every single character, scapular is better for health-based characters
