God that red gadoken. Only dan can throw a one handed fireball meterless that knocks down on grounded hit. I wonder how useful that will make gadoken in neutral
I'm just gonna go ahead and say it: Capcom really needs to hire you for balance patch notes. You concisely explain and demonstrate the changes in a way that make it easy to understand and comprehend.
Honestly I think the biggest problem with the patch notes is that they use the actual move names, which are *terrible*. More often than not I have to try to figure out what move they're talking about through context. Admittedly, they can't just use the shorthand people use for these moves, but if they were to just use the input notation for these moves, or include it with the description then it would go a long way to make it more readable.
@@kevingriffith6011 they're trying to appease to everybody when the patch notes are mostly for the dedicated community. Reading through patch notes that this this and that does this now, having to look up the command list and find out they just meant their back throw is frustrating.
@@30yovegan34 lol who's asking for the moves to use the actual names? You telling me there's people out there, including casuals, that use hyakuretsukyaku instead of lightning legs?
The buff for cr.mk on hit is likely to enable Nash to keep up pressure with VT2 to catch V-Shifts. Before this, cr.mk can only combo on VT2 activation. On counter hit cr.mk to catch V-shifts, he can now go to his dash into sommersault post activation.
I don't play Nash, but seeing him get a knockdown T.C. and being able to use both of his VSkills after it, particularly the Vs2 charge makes me happy to see. I may play him for that change alone.
/adjusts glasses [ *Nasal voice* ] Akshually, his name is Nash as is determined by Capcom's official website committee determination and you should learn his name unless you want to be wrong which is what dumb people do and I think being dumb is wrong. [/s] [There's no way to express up-swing in voice during sentences via chat but it sounds like what an SJW sounds like, roughly]
Hey look they did the thing I complained about lmao. I always felt that his 3F being non-confirmable didnt make sense, cuz Nash was meant to be the pokey keep away character that for some reason couldn’t even get you out of his face. Glad they fixed that tho.
Just looked through the PDF…. If I was reading the Dan changes correctly, that’s an insanely interesting way to remove an infinite Also Seth changes seem neat!
Dan’s change is a creative way to patch an infinite, but adding in that random chance to get a knockdown sounds like it fits with Dan’s style, kinda like Luigi’s misfire in Smash. It makes up for the loss of a powerful tool with something new.
Sobat kick got the DEEEEEEEEP range now...Ladies and gentlemen let us all welcome the return of the one true character Alpha Zero Nash and his nasty ass Mid range pokes, By god charlie can play the mid rang WAAAAY more effectively thanks to sobat hell this helps his other pokes too FHK, CRMK Bazooka knee a whole bunch of stuff it's like a god send and his conversions are WIIIIIIIIIIILD Holy shit G eat your heart out, If people don't start using his 3 frame or his sobat on top of what he's got your missing out.
Im really interested to hear your thoughts on Dans red fireball. Because depending on the RNG of the red fireball, this might be one of the best balancing choices Capcom has done in SFV.
Am I wrong for saying I hate continuous patches in fighting games as they slightly change how the game is played overall each time and it takes more effort on the player to be forced to constantly change strategy. I understand balancing in almost every instance is a positive and the constant support for a game is amazing, but it's tedious to some extent on players. idk
I think continuous patches can have negative effects on the meta, but I doubt this will become a trend. These kinds of mid season patches have happened before, though they haven't been as impactful, and they're usually 1 off things.
you aren't wrong, it's your opinion. if your saying you don't like any patches, then it's a very unpopular one, but I really do get where you're coming from
The fact that Capcom decided to went back and buff Nash again is a bless
At this point I just like seeing nash no matter what they do to him
Me too.
Bafael, we all love these short form videos.
Nash: "Hey Guile, mind if I borrow your Jumping Sobat Kick?"
Nash's the one who taught him though
@@ghosttactician403 That's the irony of it though, given how much better Guile's was in SFV until, maybe, now with the buffs
@@jjtjp2469 You're right 😔 and Guile's supposed to be the defensive one
I didn't think they could find a way to make Dan cooler and also remove his infinite at the same time, but they somehow did.

Oro soon Baf!

Don't forget dat sexy ultra-monotone ikemen voice.
VERY TRUE

I saw the changes this morning and thought "Nah, baf probably doesn't need to cover these", yet here we are
This man always goes above and beyond

I'm happy Charlie got legit buffs, he's one of my main fighters now and I can get serious ✊

You can forget about it! She has no changes.
@@TayTay83- They must have literally completely given up on her at this point.

Thanks for helping us out again with these patch notes videos
Missed your voice explaining things for the game lol. It's always good to see your videos.
Nice to see this series come back
Large Corporate Computer Calculations Go Up! Thank you very much, slothperson
I hardly play this game anymore but I do love me some Bafael content
Can't wait for that 45-second Gill video, Retribution gives Super Meter and EX Moonsault Drop is invincible to aerials 5-12
New patch? WAO. This is great news.
This means there will be a slew of new "Baf patch explainer" videos.
I'm looking forward to your video on Juri!
They really were just like "nah Nash can't be worse than Gill, buff him more"
Meanwhile my two tone boy remains garbage
All apart of gods will
Well, yeah.
He's a god.
And he's a low tier.
In more seriousness though, I've seen far more players use Gil than Nash.
I used to main Nash and now switched to Gill and I promise dude... Nash is the worst character in the game, he is just a bunch of gimmicks
Retribution now gives a chunk of meter so that's neat. Gill needs a lotta meter so it's a good change.
@@YourCrazyDolphin I guess you can say he's a Low Tier God
Just in case anyone wasn’t aware, you can follow up Nash’s target combo VS1 with ex sonic scythe in the corner
Love you content man, I was waiting for it, bring us gill!!
The one buff like the most is he's sonic schyce being a better anti-air

that's cool but where's his shippu punish?
Is Capcom actually trying to make Nash good at least once before SF6?
Why can't that be Ryu's normal stance, he looks more menacing.
Horse stance is very uncomfortable
Hit box would get real wacky
Nash is real now 🙏
cries in Sagat
Rip Danfinite
cool
They added Nash and deleted Zangief
zangief hasn't been in the game for a while now
gief never gets to have fun. :(
Good
I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to have a good grappler in a fighting game. Imagine if Gief was good. That’d be scary af

Is there anything we should know about the buffed juggle on sonic boom?
It probably does something but I don't know what. Maybe you can pick up f+LK on people who land on boom now or something
The paypal link in the description is broken, I think
Lol I just had a line break in the wrong spot.
ty based baf
nash
pog
Will they be individual videos, or will shorter changelists be combined?
Just give him an invincible reversal. Please, I beg you...
I don't play SFV but good video.
YOOOOO
Sixk
having played a bunch of nash, the sobat kick should really be -4. it would still hardly ever be punished, it would just be less braindead.
