25 years ago it didn't used to be. Some parts they drove through used to be just ugly, awful, and neglected. We used to just laugh at the idea of making Bricktown a nice neighborhood, throwing good money after bad to improve a rough bar district. Turns out we were wrong; first Bricktown, and then Downtown, an ever-expanding bubble of care has transformed the heart of OKC.
Yeah OKC has improved a lot since the '90s. It wasn't a nice place to live back then, especailly central and inner-NW OKC. It was a little better in the 2000s, but still worse than other cities its size. The city really revitalized a lot during the 2010s and is a pretty cool place now. I think getting the Thunder benefitted the city in so many ways even for people who don't care about basketball. On the other hand, it's sad to see the older suburbs such as those in the Putnam City school district go downhill. That was the nice area in the '90s.
Absolutely, a bautiful city! Would love to visit...Considering moving to a different state and I might just visit OKC and check it out. It looks gorgeous there! Hope there is fun nightlife there. Casinos are nearby and it's probably a booming city. Hope tornadoes and snow storms aren't too bad there. Thank U kindly for the video!😊 Grateful!!
This one started out and I'm like, WOW, OKC's skyline sure has improved dramatically. Realized it was NYC. I was born in OKC and have spent a lot of time there, not a favorite city in the US of mine although they seem to have done some improvements. Too large and spread out.
Wow, I didn't expect Oklahoma City to be this beautiful. 👌👌👌
