  • I will be covering my MRC Control Master 20 in this video. Not too many negatives on it. Shouldnt have any as this unit was gifted to me for the price of shipping. All things told its the best throttle I have gotten and $25 for shipping is a steal for one of these. I hope yall enjoy and I will post more videos of my DC throttle collection.

I have one of these. The performance improvements over the standard black Bachmann packs is amazing. The Control Master 20 is the most powerful analog DC power pack ever made. I agree that the momentum is not the best. I got mine on eBay for about $83.00.

Hey Justin, great video, I too own a master control 20 ,unfortunately the wife moved us to south florida 22 years ago, everything was put in storage, fast forward to the present, we are now in north carolina where I have the room to build my railroad but I can't find the wiring instructions , would you have that information available ,please and thank you, Ken....

@@kennethorrizzi3239 ok so I'll answer both of your questions. With the control master 20. I only have the two track wires hooked up. Now if you need the info on expansion ports then it should be straight forward. The wires I used weren't the exact colors of the ports so I had to use trial and error to get them to function correctly. When it comes to setting up for dcc. I have atlas selectors on my layout. So can one is the cm 20. The other is well was my digitrax system. Now I have mrc tech 4 throttle connected as it runs my mu'd locomotives the best. Hope this helps. I guess I could always do a video on it if need be. I almost forgot. Mrc has the paperwork on their website as well. If you have a working printer you can print a copy off. Otherwise you can download it and keep it digital.

There ain't nothing wrong that. I don't have any interest in the canned sound of DCC anyway. I like real audio recordings through good speakers or nothing better. Just me.

Can this unit power 2 different tracks? Or is a single train control.

It won't control them independently. You would need two packs if you want to run independent track operation.
