I adore this time period in gaming history. My fondest memories came from late 2000s to early 2010s. Modern Warfare 2 Remastered has been an awesome experience to relive. Just wish they didnt half-ass it. Very easily couldve at least given us spec ops, too.

The last 2 guys in the burgertown gave me flashbacks to playing survival when it first came out and we'd hide in the burgertown at the bottom of the escalators on the airport wave survival map, it was just a matter of time before the guys with the shields got to close and killed them like they used to us
It makes sense for them to have the masks. Depending on what the masks are rated for, they may be carrying them so they can take control of the situation using tear gas (not used in the mission) OR in the event of a gas terrorist attack, they would still be able to deal with the threat. They likely wouldn't carry the masks at all times, but the guards shown in this level, specifically the ones with submachineguns, would be armed-up for this threat.
@@CodPatrol Its not a guess, its common sense, its logical. Any airport security or third-party police, security service would be wise to equip all their staff with gas masks at an airport. Airports are very visible points of threat for terror attacks. You have to be prepared for all eventualities.

@@NPCUniverse In cliffhanger at the first part of the mission after climbing I’m trying to get the spawned npcs to act normally and move around before I plan anything on this map or different ones, so I’ll spawn some on different factions. I’ve also tried on the second missions at the fight across the bridge and after the ambush and I get the same results For example I would spawn them on crosshair, team3, follow and target on automatic. Let’s say I spawn three allied pf1_auto2215 characters on team3, If I spawn axis npcs on the same settings but a different faction Behind cover or a wall they won’t move around or take cover even if they know the enemy is there, same for the already spawned on team3 but all stand crouch and shoot. I’m trying to figure it out myself as there isn’t a guide that I’ve found.

Yes, only Makarov and Kiril was spawning but they were invincible and their movement was glitchy because they are mostly scripted in the mission.

ally team NPCs won't run around so I made them team3 and changed their name to green, also turned on notarget cheat so they dont shoot me
