Even after riding the AMAZING Disneyland Space Mountain, this is still my number one favorite Space Mountain.
I went to Orlando last year and I really miss it. Perfect place to have fun + beautiful memories!
It's a great ride! My friend and I rode space mountain 17 times. We were the only ones there do we just stayed in the seat to go again. For who ever has never been on space mountain will great fully enjoy it! And wish you to have a wonderful time!
When i went to disney in february of 2012, this was the first REAL rollar coaster i had ever been on due to motion sickness and I LOVED IT!!!!

I was at DisneyWorld about a week ago. I'm ten years old and I LOVED this ride. It went My brother, My sister's Boyfriend, My sister, me, my mom, then my dad in the seating order. It was SOOO FUN! This is my favorite ride in the Magic Kingdom! Plus its really fun at night!

I love this ride sooooooooo much it was my first rollercoaster I've been on and it's my 1st favorite ever since then this is a great ride
Is it sad that I kind of like the line more than the ride, the music is so cool and so is everything around you :D
That's exactly what I thought they were when I was younger passing through the ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority!
space mountain was a fun ride I miss it
It's neat to actually get to see this ride in action - I unfortunately ended up suffering from a migraine when I could've gone on the ride. That said - there is a tip I wanted to pass along - for those who can't ride the coaster, if they take the PeopleMover, especially at night (around the time of the Electric Light parade, and more likely between the two showings of the parade), they can go through the Space Mountain area and see a lot of the lights and action.
planning to go to magic kingdom this year for a vacation with my fmly so i am looking up all kind of rides at the best magic kingdom
It has a few drops but they're only like 3-4 feet (I went on the left one) and you don't even notice them. You're going to want to stay away from Expedition Everest, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and of course Splash Mountain. Everything else is okay.
What i loved about this whole thing is disney tends to disguise their lines to blend in with the ride so the whole time your in line ur not really thinking about it lol

@UndercoverTourist Thank god. After years of a phobia of rollercoasters, I only went on my first one last month. It was a small wooden one and I loved it. Kinda nervous about this, due to being in the dark, but you can't fly almost 5,000 miles to Disney without going on Space Mountain.

Glad they kept ye old entrance and tunnel music. But I know they always had another sort of mystical deep space sound effect rendition after the star tunnel music. If only I could download that hypnotic third "song".
I visited WDW 2 times. I went to DL Paris 3 times and it is easy to reach using Eurostar. I bought a package which includes travel,hotel and park tickets. My favorite rides at WDW is Test Track, Space mountain and Big thunder.
they take your picture on all main rides, like roller coasters and also the tower of terror, so thrill rides, but yes they do.
Man i love Space Mountain i went there last May on the 16th first i went with my mom
and i went on my own.
Awesome ride. First rode this at Disneyland Paris
All 3 mountains, Test Track, Expedition Everest, Tower of Terror and Rock N Rollercoaster are must sees if you like thrill rides.

Went to Disney with my High School band this year, on thursday we marched down main street. Everything was a walk on at the magic kingdom except buzz

oh god... the memories.
I was there when I was 5. It is completely safe because the rails are indestructable and the tunnel has lights and the seat belts only come off at the end.
@ 4:44 when you stop, there is a window where u can see people in line still, and my mom screamed really loud just to scare them XD

I went to Disney World when I was 4...too short for Space Mountain. I went back to Disney World when I was 8...Space Mountain under construction. I'm 15 and have never been on Space Mountain lol

@2brothersvideos Bless you! The Space Mountain in Disney World is like a home to me, I know it so well and miss seeing the boarding area from the Peoplemover. I was upset by the refurb at first because I missed the old one, so I looked at other Space Mountains online. The California one made me want to go to Disneyland, but in September 2010 I was hit with the new song of Space Mountain in Disney World and discovered that it keeps getting better! It probably makes the other ones jealous lol.

The first time i went on i got fastpass. There was a huge line, luckily i had the fast pass. I and my family were the only ones on the fastpass lane, so we skipped everyone!!!!!!!!!!! AWSOME!!!!!!!!

i was the second person to ride this ride. i also go a pass that made me skip the line. so i went on that for hours!

I like the one in California more because the music is louder.
I went on that ride over twenty years ago. No doubt some things have changed, though it seems the gist of the ride has not: an in-the-dark roller coaster where you never see the turns coming, punctuated by brief flashes of light as you pass by. Was pretty busy that day though. We were in line for a while, and heard the roar of the coaster overhead, carrying screaming passengers.
Good times, good times. Except that I hate roller coasters. =P

@Immakittycat1 hey there! I worked space months for 6 months before it was refurbished. Almost every ride is wheel chair accessible. There is a cast member whose only job is to help with loading and unloading those who need assistance. You board the rocket and your wheelchair and that cast member will be waiting there at the end of your journey ready to help you out :) you can almost ride everything in all the parks! Its always easier if a family member is there to help as well!

I went on this ride, and I LOVED IT. I was 11/12 when I rode this, and My dad thought it was stupid because you couldn't see anything. Thats kind of the point daddy!!! :D But i hated it because we had to wait in line for 2 hours.........

I rode it when they had the lights on and then a few years later they turned of the lights when it was my first time riding with the lights out I sat up right when you go strait down however I screamed the hole time but it's awesome

After going to CA disneyland on Space Mountain 11 times in a row. Thats when you know you have conquored Space Mountain ^_^ and I have done that xD
I believe they've added the music since this video was taken, because I remember reading about it and seeing video of it in the background. I think it's still there.
If only the wait was that short.. My wait was 2 and a half hours, only to cry the whole time Dx
P.S. Please don't judge me, it was my first real coaster, and the tears built up for so long :(
this ride us to be sponsored by FedEx whom my dad worked for so when we would go on the ride we were taken to a little lounge to hang out in first and then were let ahead of the crowd and even fast pass goers. it was really cool. i wonder why FedEx no longer sponsors this ride. my dad and i would hang out in the lounge for about 30 mins drinking a coke before going on the ride. it was pretty sweet.
They let you walk in an film everything? I thought they places like this would frown upon it.It's a good thing that you did film it. It lets us who can afford to go still be able to see the rides.

Last year i rode splash mountian and big thunder. I was scared of expedition everest but found out it's like big thunder railroad. I'm focusing next year on those 3 rides. :D
@StickiiMarvinx Don't worry, I agree. When they were building SM in France, they made it A LOT more elaborate (just like everything else at DLRP). I like France and Disneyland. I think Disney World is in the need of a big big big refurbishment though :P

@cutieputie29 yeah no big drops, not to spoil it. my first time on it i had no idea what to expect which made it even better. i remember going up a long hill up to like a starfield or something. i thought it was gonna be a huge drop. but you cant see anything and its really fast.

@drumer224 Trust me, it's fun! A little wild, but very fun! And I'm not a big fan of rollercoasters, but this I would definately say is my favorite Walt Disney World ride.

@cutieputie29 if you walk down main street until you reach tomorrowland and then walk straight towards the rocket pizza, then stop once you hit the restaurant, look right and you should see a large white building that looks kinda like a futuristic power plant. just walk towards it and look slightly to your right and you will see the sign for space mountain.
