WOW! At last, somebody showing real sample photographs taken with this lens (that I have just ordered!!) - I have now looket at about 15 RUclips-videos about this lens, and all reviewers go on 10-15 minutes about all the technical stuff, on and on - which is not really interresting - one can read this from the brochures ... Thank you so much for your take on the XF 90mm f/2 - with wonderful and inspirational images! Best regrads from Norway :o)
Thank you so much for your kind words and I am so glad that the videos are helpful. This inspire me upload new videos! Good luck with your purchase. If you like 90mm view, there is no better lens in fuji in my opinion. Portraits coming out of this lens is marvelous, though I did not upload those in the videos. Have fun with the lens :) Best regards from Frankfurt
I think I'll stop down a bit more than these, but then shoot even more background out of focus and layer that onto my closeup material in P.S. I've done so much P.S. that it doesn't phase me to work on one image for a few hours .
I did not use tripod for these photos. Blurry pictures - It could be due to the low shutter speed if you do not have IBIS in camera. As a general rule, the shutter speed should be around 1/135 with this lesn to handhold. Some can do it better and some even need faster shutter speed. Check the shutter speed on your blurry images. You can do some test by setting the shutter speed to 1/200 or shorter (to avoid hand shake) and use a single point focus(to make sure that you nail the point where exactly you wanted). Hope this is helpful.
I like it a lot as it is great even at F2. It needs stopping down only to increase the depth. It is really sharp and has high contrast even at the widest aperture of 2.
@@sessendojichannel5397 No macro extenders were used. Some of the images are cropped a little bit. Close focus is really great on this 90mm. I do not have any experience with the 80mm so far. Thanks :)
Amazing photos..very nice..
Thank you so much

Hi !
Did you use a macro extender ?
It looks very close indeed...!
Have you compared it with the 80 macro ?
