Amazing! 😍
Thank you! 😄
I have this camera since its launch and i am still amazed how great the photos it captured. I use this mainly for landscape and cityscape. And I use my sony Rx100 vi for street photography.
Thank you :) yes, it is a little gem.
just bought an xt1, and this is exactly the video i needed. thank you!
Thank you! Hope you are enjoying the new toy.
Great photos. I have the XE3 w/ the same Nikon lens. Love the results
Great. Thanks :)
hi Sibin...do you believe that d80 is much better than any iphone came out after 2020??? thanks!!!
Good question! I do not have experience with iPhone or mobile photography. Glass matters much more than any camera. D80 can produce amazing images when paired with high quality glasses. I would not use it with okay lenses like 18-55 or 18-105 variable aperture lenses. D80 struggles with low light and one can see the ISO grain above ISO 400. But I do not care about the 10 megapixels. With good glass and with good lighting conditions, it produces better images than any phone cameras. Personally I would pickup a D7000(if planning to use screw driven AF lenses) or a D3000/5000 series camera. These cameras produces better images in low light than D80. Best camera is the one comes with you always and in that case, mobile phone has it's advantages. Hope this helps and thanks for your question.
1:21 says 1/8000 - but the shutter speed of the X-T1 is max 1/4000?
Hi, nice observation. This is what we see on the top dial, which is the manual shutter. With the electronic shutter, XT1 can go up to 1/32000.
@@sibinsibin amazing, good to know!
Stunning pictures
Thanks a lot :)

Super
Thanks da :)
I think I'll stop down a bit more than these, but then shoot even more background out of focus and layer that onto my closeup material in P.S. I've done so much P.S. that it doesn't phase me to work on one image for a few hours .
beautiful images...a very underrated and capable lens...probably the best value in the fuji line up....I bought mine second hand for AU$110 and couldn't be happier with it!
Thank you:) yes, it is underrated, probably due to the zoom mechanism.

Is your aperture ring accurate to what value is shown in the cam/evf? Mine is a little bit off
Mine is accurate when I set the aperture on the ring. If I set it in between 1.4 and 1.6 for example, sometimes it shows 1.4 and sometimes 1.6, but it is the same with the fujinons.
Cool shots, great video. The x-t1 is still such a great camera!
Thanks a lot :) yes, true value for money. I had an XT-2, sold it and bought another XT-1 for less than half the price as I could not find any difference in image quality. Tried an XT4 from a friend, same thing with that as well. I shoot mostly still subjects and use manual exposure. XT1 is perfect for my slow shooting.
@@sibinsibin it really is. If you're not doing video, the x-t1 is just beautiful!
Excellent
Thank you so much :)
Buying the converter after watching this !! Thanks man !
Thank you :) If you have X70, it is a great addition for the wide end without adding much weight.
I have the same camera, but I was surprised at the incredibly beautiful example photos. From Japanese living in Japan
Thank you so much :) and I am so glad that you liked the pictures. Good luck with your photography.
Amazing pics with xf14... ❤️ How would you compare this lens with xf15-45 on optical quality.. Since I own a 14mm , but my use is pretty limited for landscapes and cityscapes, so I was considering replace this with 15-45.. pls advise.. greetings from India ❤️
Hi Atul, the 14mm pics are from Fuji X70 with a wide angle adapter. I never used the XF 14mm, though I used few other prime lenses. In my experience, optical quality is always better on primes. But the range is nice for a 15-45 and the quality is decent when closing down the aperture. If you pixel peep or look closely, 14mm wins. But the 15-45 is flexible. You need to adjust to the power zoom, which can be tricky atleast for the initial days. Hope this helps. Greetings from India / Germany :)
WOW! At last, somebody showing real sample photographs taken with this lens (that I have just ordered!!) - I have now looket at about 15 RUclips-videos about this lens, and all reviewers go on 10-15 minutes about all the technical stuff, on and on - which is not really interresting - one can read this from the brochures ... Thank you so much for your take on the XF 90mm f/2 - with wonderful and inspirational images! Best regrads from Norway :o)
Thank you so much for your kind words and I am so glad that the videos are helpful. This inspire me upload new videos! Good luck with your purchase. If you like 90mm view, there is no better lens in fuji in my opinion. Portraits coming out of this lens is marvelous, though I did not upload those in the videos. Have fun with the lens :) Best regards from Frankfurt
Love it..
Thank you so much
Amazing photos..very nice..
Thank you so much
Such a great camera and kit lens! Amazing photos!
Thanks a lot! yes, it is a super combination of quality and lightweight. The word "Kit" probably does not suit much to this lens :)
Great photos with the x-t1! I use it as my everyday camera- a beautiful bit of machinery!
Thank you so much :) same here, using it almost daily basis. yes, it's amazing what this camera can produce and the camera itself is an art.
Really nice photos .. nice music as will 🤙
Thank you so much :)
Fantastische Bilder! Danke!
vielen Dank :)
Great work!
Thank you so much :)
Wow great set!! Is this 14mm in fuji apsc sensor? I thought it’s 16mm? Thanks
Thanks a lot. Yes with the WCL-X70, it is 14mm apsc.
This is just amazing!!! Do you use any film simulation setting? We also have Fujifilm X70 and your videos give us courage and assurance that so many things are possible with a little travel camera.
Thanks a lot for your kind words. Yes, this camera is a little underrated gem which can produce really amazing results. I use standard film simulation almost all the time. But for the night skies I always use RAW format and then the film simulations can not have any effect. RAW files can be processed really well compared to the JPEGs for night photos.
Absolutely amazing photos! Recognised quite some spots in Hessen ;). How do you get the blue sky? My problem with Fuji X-70 that sky is often quite whitish...
Thanks a lot. I live in Frankfurt:) Fuji has deep shadows by default and one tends to compensate it and ends up in overexposed skies. I use polarized filter on sunny days. Usually I shoot jpegs with shadow minus 1(removes deep shadows a bit), highlight minus 1(preserve highlights/sky details), noise reduction minus 1(or minus 2 so that the details are kept instead of getting a polished image) and velvia minus 1 or standard +1. This can be set in the camera and gives a balanced image. If required with some slight adjustments, the quality can be boosted further. If these settings can not help with a scene, switching to RAW format helps further. And the most underrated thing in X70 is the small but amazing flash(due to leaf shutter) which syncs up to 1/4000 when the camera is in manual mode. This can be useful in some situations to keep the sky details. Hope this helps.
@@sibinsibin Thank you so much for your precise explanations! going to try soon! will keep you posted ;)
@@ivanarkhipov3306 That would be awesome. Sunny days are coming :)
do you use tripod? my 90mm always blurry
I did not use tripod for these photos. Blurry pictures - It could be due to the low shutter speed if you do not have IBIS in camera. As a general rule, the shutter speed should be around 1/135 with this lesn to handhold. Some can do it better and some even need faster shutter speed. Check the shutter speed on your blurry images. You can do some test by setting the shutter speed to 1/200 or shorter (to avoid hand shake) and use a single point focus(to make sure that you nail the point where exactly you wanted). Hope this is helpful.
Sehr schöne Winter Impressionen .. Danke und Grüsse vom Feldberg :-)
vielen lieben Dank, Grüsse aus Frankfurt :)
Amazing shots! I would say you are a professional photographer. Just bought used D5100. And i already know what lenses i want. Thank you so much!
Thanks a lot for your kind words. I am an amature photograher. D5100 was my first camera and I used it almost 7 years. A true value for money camera :) When paired with good glasses, it can produce wonderful images. good luck with your photography.
@@sibinsibin Thank you.
You have a good eye :)
Thank you so much :)
Excellent photos!
Thank you so much :)
Nice pict. Will it different if you put together the extension tube 10mm and 16mm?
Thanks. yes, there is a difference, but can not recollect how it was. What I remember is that it was difficult to use with both and the overall experience was not nice. Somehow I liked the 10mm than 16mm. With these the lens is no longer a normal lens as it can focus only the very close distances.
nice pics . Do you also always use polarize filter in this 18-55?
Thanks. Yes, mostly on the sunny days to get punchy colors and contrast though I do not use it in the late evening and night shots.
@@sibinsibin thank you.
Great images! Have you tried it on 23mm? I used the 10mm with the 23mm 7artisan and I only capture a small portion and everything else is blurred
Thank you so much. I never used it with a 23mm. In general, inorder to gain more depth, the subject distance needs to increase a little more and should close down the aperture than normal. I would use f4 or smaller(f5,6, 8 etc) aperture. Do not use the it at f1,8. Hope this helps.
@@sibinsibin Thank you! Waiting for mode video uploads!
How do you like this?
I like it a lot as it is great even at F2. It needs stopping down only to increase the depth. It is really sharp and has high contrast even at the widest aperture of 2.
Hi ! Did you use a macro extender ? It looks very close indeed...! Have you compared it with the 80 macro ?
@@sessendojichannel5397 No macro extenders were used. Some of the images are cropped a little bit. Close focus is really great on this 90mm. I do not have any experience with the 80mm so far. Thanks :)
@@sibinsibin Ok thanks...! Very impressive results... 😊 It almost look like a macro lens...
How to pop up the colour of your image? Is that editted? Or just straight out of camera?
Used a polarized filter for most of the pics. Except the moon rise shot, all other shots are jpegs with shadow -1, highlight - 1, noise reduction -1 and velvia - 1 or standard +1. Then most of the images are processed in lightroom especially increasing the contrast on the tele end. Thanks.
@@sibinsibin thanks thats amazing
Great images. Are the shots at 400mm is using a 2X teleconverter ? if yes is it easy to focus ?
Thank you :) There are no shots at 400mm, it should be the ISO I guess. The 2x teleconverter does not wok with 55-200 mm lens. It works only with 50-140 f2.8, 80mm 2,8 and 100-400 mm lenses.
@@sibinsibin Thanks my error. I have this lens and the XF50-140F2.8 both are great lenses.
