Growing up I was never a baseball fan, but my grandpa was and my dad loved the Rangers. He tried getting me to like baseball but I was never really interested. He was killed on June 14th, 2007 a few minutes after 11pm coming home from work. He was struck by a drunk driver while driving home. A couple of weeks after we buried him, my mom and I were going through his stuff and I saw his Rangers jerseys. I just kinda sat there for a few minutes and just like that I decided baseball was going to be my sport and the Rangers were going to be my team. Last night I sat there in his Nolan Ryan jersey and I just pray that he, along with every single fan of this amazing team who did not get to this moment with us, I hope he was there in spirit to celebrate this unbelievable team who did the impossible. Thank you Texas Rangers, you guys are World Series Champions!! What a special year, incredible post season and once in a lifetime moment. You guys said you were gonna go and take it and freaking take it you did! Until the end, forever a Ranger.

My dad was a minor league umpire and when the Rangers came to Arlington, he became a fan and took me to some games, back in the 1970s. He was faithful till he passed in 2003. They finally won dad!
I remember watching this team as a kid, going to Sonic drive in, Texas Rangers had the partnership with Sonic, going home and watch the team highlights on espn. Man what a ride, what a season
Hey, I lived in Los Angeles for over 50 years, my dad, a WW2 combat vet loved the Angels, because they were the under dogs for so long. When they FINALLY won a World Series, he was so happy. Well, I live in Dallas now for the past five years, and folks here should be PROUD of what the Rangers did this year, they beat the 4th. best team in the A.L., then they beat the TOP team by record in the A. L., then they beat the Second-best team in the A. L. then, after losing players the caliber of El Bombi AND Mad Max, they STILL beat the Snakes for the title, they won 11 STRAIGHT on the road, got no-hit for almost the entire fifth game, and STILL put up five runs! Sorry, folks, I've been a baseball fan for over 65 years, this WAS EPIC! Perhaps NOW this will become a BASEBALL town as well as a FOOTBALL town!

I went to my first baseball game in July of 1974 as a 12-year-old kid. I watched them win and became a fan that night. I can still remember the scorching hot aluminum seats of the outfield paying $5.00 to park and $7.00 for tickets and watching them not be great but lots of fun. Over the years they have always been short of winning but, I loved them. In 2010 and 2011 we finally made it to the championship stage and fell short. two years ago we lost 102 games, then last year we lost 94 games. So when they started this season winning we had no idea that they would make this big of a change and win 90 games. they held first place until the last day of the season and lost it. I got to watch them go on and do something no other team has done and now. The team that a 12-year-old fell in love with has become World Series Champions. Thank you Texas Rangers for the best gift ever that was not my wife, kids, or grandkids. I do not have a voice today but have never felt better. Lots of love to you all and have a great day.

Been waiting a long time for this one, and am sure thrilled the Rangers are 2023 CHAMPS!!! Thank you, Texas Rangers! I wanted to write how much the Rangers postseason run meant to me this last season. After seeing them beat Tampa and Baltimore, I shared with my Mom that they were doing well. We actually watched at least one or more of the games, which I treasure now. My Mom got sick last year in early October 2023, and we took her to the hospital. I want to say Rangers were in the middle of the ALCS with Houston, and suddenly she took a turn for the worse. She passed away in the early morning of October 20th. It was a difficult time, but as I initially mourned her passing.. I found comfort in watching the Rangers winning it all!! I'm thankful for that, and will always treasure those memories!!! Thanks so much for a great postseason run, which helped me out!!

I cried my eyes out when our boys took home the trophy. I'm a second generation Rangers fan and the only thing that would have made this any better would be that my parents were still alive to see it too.
My first game was in September 1974, it Thanks a Million Night at old Arlington Stadium. What a dump! What a Palace in my eyes then. Thanks a Million celebrated ONE MILLION fans in home attendance for the year. It wasn't the last home game of the season...but close to it though. One million fans is really in todays standards NOT a reason to celebrate, but you have to remember, this was a 3 year old franchise in a pretty bad stadium in a football worshiping state. I was 13 years old, now I am 62 years old with grandchildren. I STILL can not believe it. Come and take it? WE WENT AND TOOK IT!! Go Rangers, my favorite team...always MY FAVORITE TEAM!
