I don't know why I'm posting this, but I just have to say it. I used to were a purity ring, and people would always ask me if I was married. It was a great way to start a conversation, but a lot of people picked on me. One day this guy told me that I should stop wearing it because no guy would ever like me if I was wearing it. I was so young and vulnerable, I took off the ring. I'm proud to say that I'm wearing my ring again, and it's because of of these three girls. Thank you so much!

I'm 17 years old, never had a boyfriend and have sworn off dating, and think that being modest is only fair to my brothers in Christ. Well I'm posting this, I have never worn a purity ring, I received a lot of pressure (especially from christians I knew) to wear one, but I never gave in to it. There were a lot of christian girls I knew trying to use their little feminen whiles and said "Don't you want to be pure," or "don't you want to wait?" I thought about giving in and enslaving Myself to it, but My Mom spoke to Me about it and told Me not to give in and to make My own choices, and I'm proud to say I don't wear one.
actually that's the only time when you can see someone as they truly are. when your all alone on a date he/she will definetely put on their best facade and you know it's not that hard to be ,,perfect " when your dating.

Freedom is People being left alone to self-government themselves the way they see fit, until that decision crosses the lines of fisically injuring another that does not deserve it. She we be free do date and have sex, definitely.
