There is no guilt to assign blame or innocence to. A wrestler is a contractor like a painter is a contractor. A painter can talk up his work over other painters, no problem, right? He can say his skills are better and he should get the job. Same with wrestlers. They're all trying to get that painting job, and talking up themselves over other wrestlers. Every gimmick is an interview. When you go to an interview you say how you deserve the job, yes or yes? Same with wrestlers. Being under contract just means they get the job offers from whatever promotion they work for. Like a union.
@@DrSpoculus There's being positive & selling yourself based on your skills to get the push. Then there's sabotaging your opponent, talking them down & holding them back so you get the push. There might not be guilt or innocence attached to either scenario but there ain't much integrity with the latter, especially with the ability he possessed. Hall indulged in plenty of the latter while in the Kliq & nWo, he hid behind the 'it's all an angle' to increase the draw. The Kliq were definitely the tail wagging the dog. But, ultimately, they pulled in the money, gave the fans something different & kept Vince's bank balance healthy. I guess it just boils down to that's how the wrestling business operates, win your spot then keep it by any means necessary.

Scott Hall was miserable person and toxic as hell . He was always on the lookout for ways to manipulate people . If he saw your wounds he was sure to pick at it .
Alot of the left and right stuff is due to camera angles and thinking about the match and how it will look form the cameras = it is a work. Over working like Shawn Michaels, Curt Henning is not the best either. =Hall probably thought this guy looks pretty strong so why not just show that and let him work a bit harder to make it look more realistic. Vince Jr is pretty picky about what the matches look like and what he wants you (the character) to look like. Eric B (WCW) -not so much.
How is he crying. He not the one asking the questions. The host of the interviews are asking the questions. Shane's not crying and just answering back.
Shane was a decent wrestler. He seems to only have one thing to talk about. The click! Hall is dead and you still talking trash. Get the over it and focus on what little success you had. Out side of ECW Shane was basicly a mid carder. Stop blaming Scott hall for your lack of success in WWF and the radicals for your issues in WCW. Just realized if he didn't bring this up all the time, he would have very little to generate interest.
He didn't bring this up but the host of the interviews do. Shane's not asking the questions, so how is he complaining or trashing people. He's not. It's the host that asking the questions to him are bringing up the Kliq.
Scott passed almost two years ago now and Shane's issues with him were about 30 years ago and he is still crying about it. Get over it, you were never as good as Scott. It didn't matter if you were Dean Douglas or the Icon, Scott as Razor or NWO Scott Hall was always cooler and a better worker than you. You want to say the only thing Scott is remembered for is the Ladder match with HBK(which is just BS from a bitter man) but what are you remembered for? Complaining about the kliq. That's it.
Two things can be true at the same time. All of these places had their own problems. Bookers and management in WCW, the Kliq in WWE, and Paul E in ECW. Shane obviously had an attitude problem and burned a lot of bridges which is why he didn't make it as far as he could have, but a lot of Shane's problems weren't at all unique to Shane. Other guys had the same kinds of problems. If you could ask Pillman or Austin about WCW's booking or Bret about the Kliq you would hear a lot of the same stuff.
Steve Austin had problems in WCW (and Memphis before that)..he wasn’t in ecw long enough to have problems…he would end up having problems in wwf…I’m sensing a pattern here

Lots of guys did during that time that had connections to HBK in the past. Freddy Joe Floyd, TL Hopper, PG 13, etc all would've loved to be in the Kliq.
Oh I see what you're saying but as a fan of wrestling when I watch it I don't see him sandbagging at all I just see that you weren't as good as you think you were. I mean it's glaringly obvious. Well there's also that little thing of him being the founding member & the catalyst behind the greatest faction/angle in wrestling history, the NWO. The first man ever to become a 3 time IC Title holder then breaking his own record to become a 4 time champ & bringing one of the most iconic characters in WWF/E history to life with Razor Ramon to life. Or him being one of the only top name guys who consistently put over younger talent like Sean Waltman, Chris Jericho etc. You could mention those things too if you were interested in being fair & accurate.
Shane Douglas was a big fish in a small pond in ECW. When he went to WWE, he was no longer a big fish. Good doesn't make it in WWE. Great does. Scott Hall was a MUCH bigger star than Shane Douglas ever was. That's the truth.
All these comments favoring Shane when Ricky Steamboat even said he was a piece of crap backstage and in ring! Shane uses association to put himself over as this phenom of wrestling knowledge which is why he's always trolling Dominic Denucci and if you watched back in the day he couldn't cut it in Georgia!! Y'all should watch Bill Eadie talk about that trash!! Ole Anderson also.
Scotts one of the best workers so no he didnt make anyone look bad. Dean Douglas was never gonna be anything in wwe so no Scott didnt sabotage him. Scott gave honest opinions of guys & just didn't think shane was any good which in wwe he wasnt. Shane still had a lot of great things in his career but he faiked in wcw as well so is that Scott's fault as well? Shane was great in ecw only and should be in the ecw wing of the wwe hall of fame (wings should exist in wwe but they dont for some reason) Shane needs to let it go as it's clearly a burden on his soul & mental which he should get over already for the betterment of himself. Holding grudges and resentment is dumb in a case like this so movie on already Shane & this interview guy needs to stop bringing the same crap up just to get clicks, views & content.
Shane's not bringing up the past the. The host of all these interviews are bringing up the past not Shane. Shane's just responding. He's doing nothing wrong.
I have question. Serious question. Does he have anything else to talk about besides the late great Scott hall and/ or flair? To me, he wasn't that good. He wasn't the best in the original ecw, to me, it was mick Foley or raven
The interviewer asked him about it. So what if its a question already from a past interview. He was peomised big things bu Vince when he went to wwf in 95. Then he became one of many wrestlers that Hall/Nash/Michaels screwed around at that time. He has a reason to talk about it. If he had soir grapes he wouldnt have praised Hall in the ring which he does. If your boss lied to you and your coworkers screwed with you , you woild probably talk about too. Mindless comments in here.
@@Bunbunfunfun Lied? Shane also told Vince he was making $100,000 a year in ECW. ....in 1995, when they only ran a handful of times a month. 🤣🤣🤣 Shane washed out because he wasn't nearly as good as he thinks. Every time he tried the big time, he got sent packing.
Really? Scott Hall is deceased and can’t defend himself. And why would Scott have a bad match on purpose? Seemed to have great matches with everyone else. He was just sandbagging you, Shane? Come on.
Ask anyone Scott performed with how he treated them. Shane is just a jealous person of Scott, even in death. Its why Shane kept hopping all over the promotions and never sticking very long with any of them. he's just ego driven without having any reason to have an ego. I think Shane here is just taking liberties with someone who cannot defend themselves anymore. Shameful. Notice how he talks how unsafe he was but never indicates any one persons experiences to back his claim either. Only his own opinions and experiences? Maybe Shane was just a jerk no one liked, not even Scott; who liked everybody really. Pretty low.

@josta2010 does a plumber and roofer have no integrity?
Independent contractors who compete with other contractors.
RIP to Hall. I was a big fan but I do think he sabotaged Shane which is messed up
This episode Douglas talkd about Hall working stiff .
I love the franchise...I thought he awesome in ECW... he's one of only a few that will tell you the truth
When Shane talks about the clothesline at the beginning of their match, when Scott goes with a right handed clothesline, then switches to a left hands clothesline, you can actually visualize how awkward that would be if you run to the person's other side. That's a pretty dick thing to do.
I love story time with Dutch he is knowledgeable humble and funny sorry but I just don’t think these ones with shane are not anywhere as good so if your watching this go and watch story time with Dutch it’s much better
Verne Gagne trained Scott Hall very well.
😂😂😂love ur channel😂😂😂😂
bless your heart
Shane Douglas would be a good asset to the AEW or WWE if he could get past all of the politics.
Dude, AEW doesn't listen to anyone's advice. Give it up
Its funnny how anytime Shane is askd about The Klique and lays out the facts all the Michaels marks come flooding in to trash Shane.
Im sure Big Kev was in Scott's 👂 leading up to scott walking out of Gorilla..
Saying shit like Shane's trying to take your 💰, your spot.. so make Shane look stupid out there... Kev wedged his way into other wrestlers spots because its all about BIG KEV
Oh, you're sure, huh? 😂
There's no way Dean Douglas was going to take Razor's "spot".
I have seen changing clotheslines a few times in the SW territories in the 1980s, however those guys clearly called that shit out BEFORE the whip to the rope or worked it out prior to the match....you don't pull side changes mid match unless you can't remember your left from right and should go back to being a towel boy for the Lady Wrestlers who know what the fuck they are doing.
I always thought he was in ecw after wwf.🤔
He was. He worked both twice. He was in wwe 90-93,ecw in 93-94, back to wwe in 95-96 and back to ecw in 96. He’s talking about his run in wwe in 95-96 in this video.
@willdallas53 Oh okay👍! Thanks those were strange years for the wwe.I was like 7 at the time and I still thought it was real.

@Bunbunfunfun Lmao! You're really late to the party. I got my answers already. No thank bro!🤣🤣
I like Shane but Scott Hall, while maybe not nice to Shane, Scott Hall was one of the GOATs.
Two things can be true at the same time. Yes Scott hall was a GOAT, but he was also a piece of trash behind the scenes
@@MrMusicalgenius121 I mean trash is subjective. Look how much Hall gave to Waltman, Jericho, DDP… many say if Hall liked you, he was a great guy…
Scott hall is famous and remembered for one thing ! Just so happened to be the guy in the ring while hbk wrestled a ladder !!! Most truthful thing I’ve ever heard

They say ECW lay it in but ALI threw a punch greatest ever could throw a punch look like it took off your head didnt touch them that came from piper n the snake
What the hell happened to your finger Shane??
Seen a few shane douglas matches...They all suck so far 💯
Kinda liked his character never really got to see him as a kid till he got to WCW.
Scott Hall was 10X the pro wrestler than Shane Douglas.
Cant see hall saying that man lol
Hall was fucking with you about laying it in stuff he was working you
Who was more overrated than Scott Hall? Nobody.
I-always-thought-that-Shane-should-of-been-the-3rd-Rocker-back-in-90-when-he-was-in-WWF....Kind-of-like-how-Demoliton-had--3-members...Could-of-had-some-6-man-matches
He-was-the-fill-in-Rocker-for-a-short-time
He’s dead leave him alone
This dude was the shhits!
Oh look. He’s crying about kliq…. Again.
Right? As he casually mentions "I was in the Kliq ... Well, I mean a group of guys" 😅😂😅
Exactly 💯
That's it.
Let's see.... Shane had problems in WCW, then WWE, then ECW, then WCW again....
I sense a pattern here. Quite obviously, Shane was the problem.
Steve Austin had problems in WCW (and Memphis before that)..he wasn’t in ecw long enough to have problems…he would end up having problems in wwf…I’m sensing a pattern here
@@bryanmack4054 Memphis? He was there for like, 2 weeks as a rookie. 🤣
All wrestlers have issue in the territories they go to. It is an unending drama.
@@bryanmack4054Haha! Funny how someone can plug various people into a phrase in an attempt to paint that individual as a “problem” based on oversimplified logic of a perceived “pattern” of bad behavior.
Many do the same with Punk, too.
I’m sure those doing it don’t then see the ridiculousness of it by applying it to their own lives, where I’m sure they have had disagreements with management and run ins with selfish assholes at various jobs that they have reacted to. “Must be you, cuz patterns!” 😂
Shane, wanted to be in the Kliq so bad.
Lots of guys did during that time that had connections to HBK in the past. Freddy Joe Floyd, TL Hopper, PG 13, etc all would've loved to be in the Kliq.
@@fmthebaron What about Sunny?
The clique had their noses so far up Vinnies @ss and mouths around Vinnie's d#ck, so i highly doubt Shane wanted to be in the clique.
But he's not even in the top 500 wrestlers of all time. But he's burning in hell now. Waiting for Shawn an kevin nash to get there to keep him company
Shane Douglas buries a ded guy
That’s usually one of the popular options with dead people.
Yeah, badass
Oh I see what you're saying but as a fan of wrestling when I watch it I don't see him sandbagging at all I just see that you weren't as good as you think you were. I mean it's glaringly obvious. You were a good mechanic mid-card guy, that could put on a decent match with someone else who has IT. You sir, just did not have the goods.
Scott hall is famous and remembered for one thing ! Just so happened to be the guy in the ring while hbk wrestled a ladder !!! Most truthful thing I’ve ever heard
What one thing, Razor Ramon or the nWo? Or maybe you're just full of 💩
How many times are you going to spam the comments over a mediocre match in 1994 that Hall had to carry Michaels in?
As in Shane who sucked
I see that Shane Douglas has no respect for the dead.
Why does someone become untouchable once they die? Get a grip.
Shane had high expectations in mid 95 in WWF and for some reason he cant get over it
I have question. Serious question. Does he have anything else to talk about besides the late great Scott hall and/ or flair? To me, he wasn't that good. He wasn't the best in the original ecw, to me, it was mick Foley or raven
@@niteporter Sour Grapes
@@niteporterThat's definitely a no, if the last 30 years are any indication. 😂
Shane washed out because he wasn't nearly as good as he thinks. Every time he tried the big time, he got sent packing.
Really? Scott Hall is deceased and can’t defend himself. And why would Scott have a bad match on purpose? Seemed to have great matches with everyone else. He was just sandbagging you, Shane? Come on.
Agree. Scott was highly regarded in the ring. It was his escape of all the shit in his private life, I'm not convinced he would do it on purpose
Pretty low.
What makes me sleep best at night is the fact that scott hall died not knowing who he even was
Seems he could be a tool at times. And obviously had demons. But for me one of the guys I look back when he was Razor.. and think he should have become the champion.
Razor Ramon was one of my favourites for sure.
Yea Im sure Scott wanted to make himself look bad and hurt his career just to get at Shane Doiglas...
Well by the look of Scott Hall in later it looks like karma paid him pretty good.
Well Karma is gonna get u too So don't play with her
@@craversaints921he should be fine as long as he's not a piece of garbage like hall is/was 👍
its funny how guys that couldn't get over always say how bad the guys that got over were
Did you actually listen ? He doesnt say anything bad about Hall's actual wrestling ,just that he liked to screw around and make others look bad. He never said Hall was bad.
