Glad you found it helpful! It really is straight forward and so powerful! You can stack Lumetri Color effects as well to change other parts of the frame, or do a second layer on the skin :)

Dude, this is perfect. Quickly explained and to the point. The result was awesome. I would just like to add that as of today's version (14.5.0) in Mac, the blur indicator does not go all the way up to 70 like you showed. It only goes to 30. So after a lot of trial and error, I settled for 8,0 (the subject is around 60 years old). I thought the hard part was to make the right selection of skin avoiding the hair and eyebrows. The first versions I was not being able to blur the skin and avoid the eyes. After 10 minutes I managed. Thank you so much.

Great tutorial. We use the cosmo plugin from red giant for skin cleaning but it's so pricey and also takes forever to render and always ends up looking kind of 'plastic' no matter how subtle you use it. This method looks great!
Thanks! Cosmo literally does the same thing that we show you in this tutorial, but a little more automatically; when you select skin tones in Cosmo, it essentially is just using a secondary color correction effect similar to the HSL that I show manually :)

O this is a great tip! Really like that this only blurs the skin but leaves the other features sharp. Gonna play around with this feature never even used it before 😂
Glad you found it useful! It can come in handy, especially on close up shots, although Yen already has perfect skin based on the video she put out a little while ago, so it probably wouldn't do much in that case haha
