I bought couple of them as bareroot & planted it month ago , will see couple of months from now when is blooms...is beautiful rose only thing is easy & always get powdery mildew & blk spots on it , don't matter what u do to it will get it , But when is Blooms & that fragment well worth it👍😘
I have perfume delight. The flowers are large, even the buds are very big. Looks like lotus so I bought it from second hand market. It also have classic Rose fragrance.
I got my first bloom of perfume delight and fragrant cloud. I'm very satisfied with the smell of both. So far fragrant cloud carries farther from the flower easily 6 feet. I have a poor sense of smell also. So a normal person may experience it differently
20 years or so ago i bought an IDless rose (rose sold without an ID is normal in my country especially in local market) that looked just like Double Delight. The perfumed was so intensed, it can only rivalled Edouard. I didn't need to stick my nose in to the bloom, i could smell it just a few feet away. I'm not sure if it was Double Delight because i never smell one. Then the fact there are many roses looks so alike DD. My bloom also never grew as massive as yours but then mine was quite young and was in pot and i was quite forgetful when it came to feeding the rose. Someone also mentioned DD last around 3 days before falling apart, mine last only a day. That could be because i live in tropics, hot and humid all year around. 2 weeks ago i ordered online a DD. It arrived with a big bloom just opened. It is not a Double Delight or the rose i had, it is scentless! This makes me hesitant to order DD from other local online sellers. The rose i had died of pest and disease attacks. I can still recognised it perfume but i have never seen (or smell) it in garden centres for so long :(
I live in sun tropics however you may have too much rain and humidity . I lived in Darwin for many years and roses didn’t grow there for me . Keep trying water weekly and put in sun

I love roses I have this rose but it is a climbing I have Mr Lincoln ,just Joey ,white one ,gold bunny, and 6 more roses
