I was at the concert and so lucky (first raw, middle/left in front of Solar). It was amazing, that why... It is when the goal is consummated that the quest takes on its full meaning. Wednesday May 17. "Where are we know" this #mamamoo song comes back to me. Last night, what a concert! i can't thank my family enough for allowing me to leave france for a concert to witness the magic of mamamoo on stage in the city that never sleeps: new york. K-Pop... of course the moment 2023 crowns groups like "Black Pink" and many others that I have seen in Paris lately. But something different, something higher happens with these 4 incredible little women when they are on stage. We go beyond the phenomenon of K-Pop to make way for a show full of truth, sincerity that does not deceive. Something different is happening with #Mamamoo on stage that goes beyond K-pop style. First, let's talk about the music itself. the songs are eclectic and take you from real old-fashioned pop, like starry night, to more "Hip" songs, passing through humor like 1cm... For a senior who was fed on Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson passing by Tom Jones, I am served. By the way, if you have the opportunity to see on RUclips the incredible performance of Delilah, with Moonbyul in a rap that spices up this classic crooner TomJones, then hang on! The arrangements are top notch, the voices impeccable and the stage presence leaves the audience speechless... But I come back to last night. What a concert, what a connection with the public. It's true being in the front row as a man with graying hair and an unlikely costume for this kind of concert, it was hard for them not to notice me (thanks to Hwasa for his gesture about my costume ...). And that's where I found all the joy of living another concert.... I thought I had felt everything with Mr. Jackson, and well no. I'm not trying to compare MJ with Mamamoo, just expressing all these new feelings that weren't possible to experience in a concert where you see the king of pop no bigger than a match... whereas there ... Solar just in front of me did not fail to have glances of complicity with his public, let us specify: spontaneous glances with visible joy to share his art. So obviously the next day waking up is difficult. Where are we now? I still have the memory of the quest, a few photos... A word of advice: stop filming a concert entirely, you put an object between the stage and your mind... Obviously it loses its force... So I have little photos but I still have the quest... more than 2 years of waiting, with a fear that the COVID will kill the existence of this group that I was waiting for so much, on stage... But finally it happened. Of course I have lived longer than I will live (but I obviously wish to live longer)... Only now do I know where I am and if everything has to end tomorrow, I will take a life to a living imaginary house with my amazing family. An incredible woman, children who make me more proud every day... and on my desk in my little secret box, with a small poster of this concert on May 16, a few confetti... the certainty of a moment of eternal selfish happiness: thank you #Mamamoo, thank you #Hwasa, #Solar, #Wheein and #Moonbyul...
it's good you're able to witness pure talent upfront. So sad I can't go to their concernt as much as I want to. How's Solar up close? Is she so much more beautiful in person? i love Solar and her voice. I like them all too.
@@Jes-nf7in Solar but also the others are very charismatic, it goes beyond the mere notion of beauty. Solar looks so young when she is already 32 years old, it's impressive. The group really has energy, which is why I tend to see Mamamoo more as a group capable of breaking the codes of K-Pop and still lasting... .

For real!! I was blown away the first time I saw them perform that badass solo cover stage and I FREAKING LOVE IT STILL 🤌🏽 I'm imagining their next tour, with proper promotion, funding, more elaborate stages, more songs, and MAMAMOO with a better company. No one, imo, can touch #MAMAMOO 🤍💛❤️💙

I was so excited to see them live I have been waiting for them for so long to come to the USA. They did amazing and the vocals were on point. I do have one complaint about the concert WHAT WAS UP WITH THE CAMERA... THEY REALLY DID NOT DO WELL I mean so many times they had the wrong artist on that was not singing then they were switching all over the place it seemed very disorganized and it made me sad for Mamamoo because they are such professionals. So whoever was handling the switches for the focus on the artists singing etc. really was messing up a lot. I say this because I saw Ateez in Novermber, then within one month I saw Suga, Jackson Wang , TXT and then Mamamoo. It would have been even more wonderful if they had done that better being on the floor we had to rely on the screens because many were blocking the view to the Stage. It was their 1st stop on the tour so I am rooting for them to have even better performances on the next stops. I brought my son with me so see them he is 17 and really enjoyed it too.
Kinda agree about the camerawork, but perhaps it's a little harder cause Mamamoo sings in harmonies so often (plus various adlibs and members often singing on top of each other) compared to the other artists you saw recently. Still super amazing tho, I'd honestly go again just to listen to their voices even if there was no performance lol 😅
That arena is my favorite but I usually will sit in the 106 or 107 section to avoid people blocking my view. So glad I finally got to see them live! I keep rewatching my videos and others.
