Update: Uba now has finished 5 hours after publication of this video with a time of 13d22h13m! Congrats to a great second place. This also means that we have two riders ahead of Mike Hall's old record of 13d22h51m
Incredible!
Wow, admirable race Justinas, admirable coverage Josh.
Congrats to Justinas, and needless to say THANKS for your coverage
Justinas is the man, splendid performance. Thanks for the commentary.
That's what i call a great coverage !!! Job well done Josh
👏 what a guy. Can't wait to hear his interviews. Looking forward to the rest of the videos to finish off the women's race.
Wow what a ride! And thanks again Josh! Your insight of this race is so valuable to an armchair/office chair bikepacker like me. 😂
thank you for the coverage
Hi FWIW, for those of us who watch youtube on the TV most the time we dont see the comments, it'd only take 3 seconds to say your discount code. Great job, its perfect timing after my ride home from work out here in Australia to watch on the TV with a cup of tea
"Who's that homeless looking guy at the convenience store? He's not homeless, he's just resupplying and winning the Great Divide Mountain Bike Race.". lol
Thanks Josh for the coverage. Justinas had fantastic luck with the weather and didn't get stuck in the mud.
cheers!
Congrats Justinas!
Great report and congrats Justinas - inspiring stuff! That we could all do a fraction of what you just achieved....
Thanks for your excellent coverage Josh. Hugely appreciated!
He excelled in the chaos. Really impressed that he was able to push on with those shorter sleep breaks.
thanks for this journalistic endeavor! Great job!!!!
Thanks!
Bravo to All!
Great race and coverage 👏Looking forward to everyone finishing. All categories are super interesting to follow. Thanks Josh👍
Josh, I agree with your thoughts on keeping the banner for Mike Hall on the TL site as a tribute. I've grown accustomed to using it as reference, even when I rode it in 2018 and it was 12 days ahead of me. lol
Wild humans!
20 hours ahead of the record!? Incredible. Nice work. Great coverage.
Lithuania represents! 100 year anniversary after the first Lithuanian Olympian (Isakas Anolikas) appeared at the ‘24 Paris Olympics (I know… not that relevant, but I think it’s kinda cool).
One hell of a run.
I really hope we see Meaghan turn on the afterburners to take the womans record.
Pie Town to the end is a big drag race.
the local "monsoon" rains look to be clearing out for a few days & picking up again Monday & most of next week. It's pretty hard to predict as this is the 1st year in many decades that the storms are not coming out of the southeast???
Are you done doing the daily updates? Wondering what going on with LTD?
Congratulations to Justinas!
It looks so tough out there with all the storms.
If you’re caught by the broom waggon are you dqd or can you continue if you want.
From what I can see there are lots of dnfs but many of those don’t appear as Scratched on the leaderboard.
I thought you are supposed to notify the organisers if you decide to scratch
Shit, that was good!!!
Please, do it again….at a rally to open for Joe!!
Is the route exactly the same as the one Mike Hall did?
no, significant differences up north and in NM. Maybe 6-8 hrs slower?????
This route is about 60 miles shorter than the one Mike did. Justinas still had a faster pace overall, and would have beat Mike even if he did the extra 60 miles.
@@Willibopper Thanks for clarifying
Keep Michael's dot, like a pro-Sports athlete having his team retired.
