My dog passed away today June 13th and I found this song by accident. We grew up together and I am currently 19. I always had trouble having a close connection with most people so my 2 dogs naturally became my best friends. Ever since I was a little kid I had struggled with anxiety and depression but they were always there to comfort me. They both were there during all my highs and lows. Losing 1 of them really hurts man. This song just tears me apart because of how deeply relatable it is. I pray that God takes care of her and am glad she got to see the strong and resilient young man I have become.😣🙏

I had a dog that followed me around all the time, and he used to lay down on my chest when I had a panic attack or when my heart rate was higher than it was supposed to be his name was rocky. Thank you so much, Chase.

I lost the best friend I ever had on TUE the 11th of June. He was an Australian Shepherd named Maverick and it was so sudden I had no time to prepare and I've never felt so lost and alone without him here. He was only 9.5 years old and nothing will ever replace the spot in my heart he will forever hold.

She is in heaven , don't ever not believe that . And talk to her when you need to about all the things you only told her she is still listening to you . I lost my boy ↖️ in 2017 one night I couldn't handle a situation and needed to talk to only him so that's what I did , I cried and talked and I began to feel he heard me somehow and I started to feel his calm it was just different and that night I started to heal . That was 2018 and it still works to this day . Virtual hug

This song hits extra hard because I just lost my dog of 9 years old June 7 due to complications of puppy birth which was even harder because the one puppy she did have didn't make it either 😢💔
My dog had 10 puppies on 02/28/2023 and unfortunately 6 out of the 10 I’ve had to bury. It’s been the most devastating and hard time. Just holding their little lifeless bodies broke me. They didn’t deserve the sickness they got. I gave them their first round of shots and everything and they all tested negative for the usual parvo and parasites. Finally found out it was a strand of parvo that killed them all because it wasn’t enough for them to test positive for parvo. I had to watch them suffer, spend hundreds of dollars with the vet trying to save them, just so many things it happened so fast. I have one puppy that was given back to me that is sick and I’m praying she pulls through. Watching them be born, caring for them till they were old enough to be adopted and then losing 6/10 of them is just still so heart breaking. And on top of it I almost lost my Millie( the momma dog) because she was too good of a mom and they were sucking the actual life out of her. No one can prepare you for this kind of hurt. It may not seem like a big deal to many but it was a huge deal to me cause they were all my babies you know? This song hits home Chase. You’re amazing so many of us needed this song 🙏 thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have a Labrador Retreiver named Nina. We got her in 2018 and I can't beleive she is going to be 6 this year. I mean, her life is halfway over and it feels like my family just got her yesterday. Time flies so fast you don't even notice it. When she passes, it will be so hard for me to cope and beleive about what happened. Me and her have been best friends since I was a little kid and she made me comfortable when I was going through episodes of anxiety, depression, and paranoia. I can cry my eyes out just thinking about it. Hopefully, she can live a long healthy life. My Uncle John had a Labrador Retriever named Bubby that was 18 years old and he had to be put down a few weeks ago. Hopefully she can be like him and live a long life.
😢Same I'm trying not to cry, my bestfriend Josie, she was a boxer, passed away April 18th 2021. She grew up with me my whole life. There isn't a second that goes by that I don't think about her. And the dog at my moms passed away about a year ago, both Josie and Sable were such sweet dogs. Chase thank you sooooo much for making this song, you did so many people a favor.

I lost my dog October 26 me and her were so close me and her did everything together. I would take her for a truck rides in my dad‘s truck because we have this huge field and my dad didn’t care what I did to his truck and I hate losing hurt me and her are so close. I went looking for a song to listen to try to cheer me up and I came across this song and I listen to it and I absolutely love it while me being a kid I struggled with a lot of emotional stuff with family things, she was always with me no matter what and I just love this song, so much Chase Matthew you did a great job on that song!!! ❤️
