Bro, have you heard their newest album? His voice sounds fine.. He most likely was catching a cold or getting out of one.. That's what it sounds like to me..
@113799226014118748336 he sounds better compared to Defenders Of The Crown, no doubt there. But still, he never sounded the same after Rocket Ride. He changed his vocal too radically I think - He can't even go up an octave these days, without sounding sick almost :/

Too bad Tobias' voice isn't nearly on the same level as his wish to be the center of it all.
+meccano for me the rawness of his voice in here adds a lot of passion to the song; although is obvious he cant reach some of the notes.

Well thats the thing with Tobias, people brace him for being this amazing singer, but in actuality he is not. He had good control over his voice when he was younger but that all ended with Superheroes album. It seems to me that he tries to sing in a different way that does not really fit him. IMO he is using chest voice where head voice would be better suited (3:07). My point is that it looks like he ditched the head voice singing a lot, even in the old songs where a he clearly used it in studio recording.
I´m not agree at all. He was amazing in this concert, and he was good in this song too. Not his best performance of the nght, but good anyway. Lande was better in this one, but Lande is Lande, and for example, Tobias was better than him in The Scarecrow (in my opinion).
+Mark Urban Actually, Tobias was an amazing singer back those days. The reason why he sounded so different has a name, that is "SASCHA PAETH" in an interview Tobias revealed that Sascha conviced him to stop using the old vocal, "because his old high pitched voice was nauseating". He brainwashed Tobias so hard at the point of Tobias say "I can't listen to my old songs when I used to sing with head voice, because is cringy".
If you don't like that tobias lost almost 100% of his voice, blame Sascha Paeth.
Mark Urban no, the thing people actually think about Tobi is that he is a horrible singer, when in actuality he is an amazing singer. One worse than normal performance doesn't change that...
