Ok, you’ve sold me. I’ve failed at garlic for 4 seasons now. Honestly it’s cheaper to just buy at my local farmers market. BUT… I really want to grow my own garlic. I’ll be ordering before the weekend is out. I am procrastinating and overthinking my gardening tasks at hand on this amazing day. ❤ anxiety is a real monkey sometimes!

It absolutely is not cheaper to buy it at all, organic garlic like what I grow is like $30 a pound.
@@pilsplease7561 I buy organic garlic from my farmers market for $2.00 each. The garlic is about the size of my palm. It’s absolutely cheaper than buying seed garlic and growing it.
This is how I feel every year when I harvest garlic! The excitement and surprise is beyond.
I would save and plant from the largest bulbs.

What did she feed them please
She fed them worm castings when she planted them and then in the Spring she fed them 444 organic fertilizer. Both of those come in the garlic kit, which you can order right here: 2ly.link/1z7jX

i had so much fun watching your videos. I planted garlic 2 years from now and i never had a big bulb harvest ever! Would love to try your Garlic kit but i guess it wont deliver to Denmark. Its a sad. :)

I just harvested 150 in cottage country ontario. A very nice crop , we enjoyed the scapes too. They 're hanging up waiting for the rest of the veggies to be ready. Next year I'll try the leave a couple of scapes trick, to help the harvest date. Love your videos.

Do i need to refrigerate the garlic first and for how long
This is only needed if you're in a growing zone that does not get temperatures below the frost level. The refrigerator is simulating that cold weather. You would want to leave your garlic in the fridge for 1 month and then plant it exactly as I've shown in some of my garlic planting videos :)

I’ve smoked some and made garlic scape salt, grilled some on bbq, chopped up and added to various dishes, froze some for later!
