Came accross this video doom scrolling and went out to bunnings the next morning. Just under $80 including a pipe cutter. Absolutely brilliant. The, best swag sag fix.

That’s awesome mate! Yeah I had looked at quite a lot of videos looking for an easy cheap fix but I also wanted something that will fit in the swag when I pack it up. Works a treat!

@@Jasonracermate, my next hack on this is to add a length of pvc conduit down the middle, tie the 2 hoops, then i can hang small led light.

Thanks for your idea and video. A good cheap fix... My swag is a DUNE but the problem is the same... it's a pity the manufacturers didn't put a bit more effort into sorting it out.

Thank you!! I thought my little pink swags not so big so grabbed 13mm. Should have got the larger size but still works.

    Will need to make one..
    3metre 25mm water pipe.
    Two 19mm T piece joiners
    1x19mm 150mm joiner
Cut 4x 13.5cm lengths off of the 3metre pipe.
    Cut whats left in half
Join legs and T piece together and DONE.
Thanks mate, i made one for my double swag ive had since 2010. Works perfect. Cheers 🍻. Packs up inside the swag too.

Just measure it off the length of your outer supports. Then trim it until you are happy. I hope that helps

    • @dwaynechatman8655

trial and erro, cut long and then trim, best way is to be in it to see how it all goes. todays effort took me about an hour.

Could you add a link for the poly pipe purchased? Looks like a great idea that I would like to try out. Could you also do a quick tutorial on making the ends and middle part of the hoop?
