The miracle burn deck wasn't supposed to be budget. I just didn't get cards in time. And it absolutely slapped the league. So I got sets of cards and rolled with it. It needs blood moon against creativity.

Regarding Westgate Regent's Ward ability, if the opponent casts their last card in hand to remove Westgate Regent, that spell gets countered because they can't discard a card. It's the same way Torment of Hailfire works: if you cast Torment of Hailfire for 8 and your opponent has no cards in hand, they can't just discard a card 8 times.

Edit: my deck was the twiddle deck and if you want to make it better you can use pact of negation because you mostly win on that turn. Although if you want to get a more refined version of the deck check out either theepicstorm RUclips channel or mtgdeckmasters list

Inquisition of Kozilek is $2 now, $4 for the Strixhaven Archive copy. I'd say that's decently budget.
I made a "legendary" deck with legendary evasion creatures with equipments.
Example: Turn 2 Hero's Blade, Turn 3 Kira, Great Glass-Spinner or Geist of Saint Traft, ... Turn 4 Grafted Wargear. The cool thing was that Kiras utility doesnt hurt here.
Really enjoyed this video. I will have to submit my deck next time. From your videos I now buy 99% of my cards from cardmarket. Really does save you lots of money

I have Spliced onto Arcane. I ran a Cranial Extraction + Soulless Revival + Hana Kami deck in Standard against a heavy Tooth and Nail local meta. Plus all the Glacial Ray drafts.
This is some fun content, Ill be sure to send you my own pioneer brew that I (so far) have never seen anyone else play. It was budget at least when I created it and it has an excellent game 1 matchup if your opponent does not know what you are doing.
I think the westgate regent is actually a very strong card IF you can get it down. I have tested it on arena to some good results and in draft it was insanity. That being said the deck probably isn't getting to 5 mana, maybe just play graveyard trespasser.
Nice video, although I would rather have the deck posted the whole time and have the hosts speaking in a small screen.
I have spliced onto arcane before. I have tried twiddle storm in pauper and it also splices psychic puppetry into idea's unbound and peer through depths.
I didn’t submit the burn deck, but I have, card for card, the exact same deck!
Went 2-2 last FNM: Sage of Hours+ Hardened Scales. Cheap cards that add +1+1 counters. Bogles, Invisible Stalker, Managorger Hydra. Been playing this deck for years. Won many matches and it's $cheap
I already have spliced a spell into an arcane spell !
It wasn't with lotus field, but with something similar involving High tide in the peasant format
you haven't lived until you've kept a desperate ritual in your hand to splice onto every other copy in your graveyard after a past in flames
Am I missing something? Why is there an Arid Mesa in the mono red deck? It doesn't seem to have any use (no Searing Blaze, no Grim Lavamancer) and is a big chunk of the decks' price.
My buddy made an "adventure time" deck which is his first ever cheap deck, and it's insane.

I finally finished my favorite modern deck, 9 rack. A mono black discard deck... though I regret checking the racks :(. Didn't know lurrisc was banned but I can use it in commander

I realize I might be a small majority here but would it be possible to add US dollar figures? Im a dumb american and have a hard time quantifying how much these cards cost at a glance.

Personally, I really like a playset of DRC and a playset of Mishra’s Bauble in budget Burn. It’s pretty good for card selection and is normally a good beater by turn 2 or 3 depending on your luck. Also, will someone please experiment with Gruul Burn! Atarka’s Command is an amazing replacement for Skullcrack.

In thr future if you could show the list more clearly, that would be awesome. I csnt see with the lightning effects, and it's only visible for like 5 seconds.
You can make a decently competitive modern deck for under one dollar. Heres a maindeck for mono red burn every card is 2 cents.

@@jaminkauf6242 about that... i looked at cards like discontinuity and tales end while building the deck but decided it wasnt worth it because the deck wants to win around turn 3 or 4 and 2 extra mana doesnt make much difference when playin a deck that can often get to 13 mana

Just one Question... Why does the wizard always get stuck at 25%? 😅
Jeskai auras is a little busted for budget. Many strong auras are very cheap, then you can blow your budget on cards like kor spirit dancer, sram, and reyav.
Edit: mana base can also stay fairly cheap, there's not more than 1 color of mana on anything and nothing is above 2 cmc
If you discuss the list please show the list way longer, you showed each deck for only ~5s which is not enough to read the cards

I'd like to see a Commander duel with AI Generated cards.
I know it's asked for a lot, but we chose never to have an AI generated commander game because it would simply take too long to edit and would be far too expensive 😕
