You are an inspiration to me. I haven't been catching you as much lately, and I found myself asking why. You said it! "How are you spending your time? You must invest in yourself." I know that's not your exact words, but if something is not right with you, go to God, and work on yourself.

I know people sometimes don't trust professional stylist but getting my hair nurtured and trimmed by a professional master stylist really help me. I was cutting off way too much and I even try to tell him when to trim lol But he patiently showed me when I was suppose to get a trim and how much. So my trims went from cutting a inch off every 3 months to getting 1/8 to 1/4 off every 4 to 5 months because I was shown how to properly care for my scalp, length and ends ❤

Hello! One of them that work for me was don't laden your hair with too much styling products. I was packing to much edge tamer on my hair. EVERYDAY. Unknownly, I was kinda dry rotten my ends. Now if I use styling product it's protein-free gels for me

I have unrealistic goals for my hair. I have been growing my hair to bra strap length but was frustrated I could never show off my length because of shrinkage. No matter what I did or how long it always ended in a puff😂 so my hair let me know I was the problem not her!!!! I am fearfully and wonderfully made🙌🏽 Afro puff it is😅

My plan is to continue being consistent with my hair care routine, including regular trims. At this point, I trim for the health of my ends but more so to maintain my current length. Currently, I don't want to grow my hair any longer. That could change in the future but for now, I have as much length as I'm willing to care for.

I don’t follow a schedule & just trim whenever my hair looks/feels like it needs it bc I get hella fairy knots at my ends if I go longer than 8 weeks. For me it’s easy to tell when I need a trim in mini twists bc I can see the knots or damage/inconsistencies. I trim/dust regularly & it seems like my hair adjusted to the routine bc it grows faster after a trim these days whereas before it seemed like it plateaued when I first started trimming.

Everything else grew easily to waist length. I had to suck it up and ruthlessly trim that hair. I lost so many years of growth needlessly.
