May Allah reward you for your efforts. Big thumbs up for the Tabligh Jamaat for keeping you in that environment of Deen, talking of Allah and The Masjid. They kept you in an environment of talking about Allah, shortness of this life and vastness of the hereafter etc. Allah then took you on this journey of seeking knowledge, instead of maybe shooting down the effort of Tabligh. Perhaps it's your duty now to contribute to the effort of tabligh by correcting those issues which are problematic, by doing that you would combine your knowledge with the efforts of tableegh. Use your Ilm to guide the tabligh jamaat in the right direction and not close the doors of goodness. Every effort has its pros and cons, promote the pros and with wisdom correct the wrongs. BaarakAllahu feekum!
Allahuma Baarik. Really enjoyed this discussion. I hope he (Ustaad Abu Uthman) maybe explained how he left the JT (Jamaat Tabligh) & what reaction he (may have) encountered & what advice he could give to those who have left these types of beliefs or wish to leave these type of beliefs. I was previously a deobandi/hanafi but Alhamdulillah been striving to be upon Salafiyyah for the last 5+ years, it was very difficult to leave as i am surrounded by these in my family/community etc. I still suffer minor abuse / dirty looks / ostracisation etc but Alhamdulillah i believe Salafiyyah to be the correct path & importance need to be given to Tawheed / Aqeedah / Manhaj etc.
Allahumma barik May Allah reward you both. Ameen. I really like this institution Alhamdulliah so beneficial. The MCL portal is very good and everyone should join the Alimiyyah course InshaAllah ❤️
Praise be to Allah. Firstly: It is permissible for a woman to take part in public chat rooms, if she adheres to the following guidelines: She should only participate as much as is necessary, so she should pose a question or state the topic, then leave, and not comment unless there is a need for that, because the basic principle is that she should avoid speaking to men or mixing with them. There should be nothing in her words that could provoke fitnah (temptation), such as joking, speaking softly, or laughing, such as writing “hahahahahaha”, as mentioned in the question, or using smiley emojis, because that could lead to coveting on the part of those in whose hearts is disease, as Allah, may He be glorified, says (interpretation of the meaning): “O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech” [al-Ahzaab 33:32]. She should avoid giving out her email address or corresponding via private messages with any man, even if that is for the purpose of seeking help, because of what such correspondence often leads to of attachment and temptation. See the answers to question no. 34841 . It is preferable and better for a woman to participate only in all-female chat rooms. This is safer for her. There are many such chat rooms, and that is better and sufficient. But if she needs to participate in public chat rooms, then it is better for her to choose a screen name that does not indicate that she is female. And Allah knows best. Source: islamqa
