Good and simple drama. No abuse or betrayal by the Ml. It was fate for this handsome Ml and pretty Fl to meet and marry on a blind date intended for them to meet other people. I loved the chemistry between this couple and how they grew to love and protect each other. Ye Sihan's withholding the truth about his true identity caused a short rift in their relationship when XuShizi found out, since XuShizi said she hated liars. XuLi was a lazy and despicable brother and used his sister as a money bank rather than finding himself a job! Satisfactory ending with XuShizi forgiving Ye Sihan. Good acting by the attractive cast. Interesting to watch.
Kudos all around for this drama. The male lead is handsome in the true masculine tradition, not pretty and feminine like many of the Chinese male actors. He has a great build with lots of muscles. Many of the Chinese male actors are so thin that their clothes look like they’re draped on a clothes hanger. They are so skinny that the usual scene in the shower is a joke. This particular ML is good at the serious roles as well as the more light-hearted and comic roles such as this one.
Can you imagine your boss asking you to get them an iced coffee 0:25 and when get back you find out they got married to a stranger while you were gone 3:24 😂😂😂😂

I really enjoyed this. The English subtitles were a bit hit and miss. Some were missing and others were down right stupid they didn't make sense, but that is par for the course in these dramas.
Of all the things to be upset about, she's mad that he didn't tell her that he was a billionaire... I swear, they be creating issues out of nothing. Who sits at a table and don't even introduce themselves or asks for the other person's name? You were willing to marry anyone just to get money to buy a house, but now it's a problem cause you actually like him, and he didn't tell you that he wasn't your blind date and the fact that he was rich... 🙄

Not only did ml intentionally mislead fl but he's been lying to her about everything from the beginning; he lied about being her blind date, he lied about not having a car (and even made her take a taxi alone whilst he went in a private car!), he lied about being unemployed, he lied about his secretary, he lied about his grandfather, kept her in the dark about his identity leading to her almost getting assaulted, had her pay water and lights for his own apartment!! (this one especially grates my goat). And to top it all off someone other than him told the truth. How long was he going to keep lying to her? That one lie snowballed. How could she trust him again to not keep secrets from her? If I were her I was gonna have major trust issues with him. Crazy how this one negative thing about him overshadows all his good qualities. I'm glad she didn't forgive him so easily and the grandpa told him to fix things otherwise their fight would've been extended. He deserved to sleep on the couch tbh. Really good series ❤
Technically, he didn't lie about being her blind date. She assumed he was her blind date, and he assumed she was his. She was the one who mentioned him not having a car and house based on the information she was presented, and that's when he realized she had the wrong person. He tried to correct her, but she cut him off, so he just went with it. When she mentioned paying the bills, he told her that he paid all the family expenses at 32:57. He told her not to worry about that guy, but she didn't listen and went and met up with him anyway as if she would have been able to convince him to let her husband go. If the guy was making comments at the dinner about how he wanted to have fun with her, why would she think he wouldn't try to do something wicked to her alone? The funny thing is she had a lot of energy for him but not her dad or brother who's been living off of her for years. With him, she was acting like she had a heart of stone, but with them, she was acting like a wounded stray cat.
