  • Isaiah 57 a bible study. In part 2 of Isaiah 57, we will dive into a profound teaching on the evil ways of wickedness, idolatry and disregard for God. But there is also restoration "I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners"
The Lord has also incredible mercy on them as He said I create the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him
Follow us on this study of Isaiah.

Please be aware, the following must be the Only object of our faith for salvation and leaving in the Rapture:
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV) - "Christ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…"
All alternative gospels must be rejected, even if an angel brings it (before the rapture):
Galatians 1:8-9 (KJV), “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
Acts 16:30-31(KJV) - “The Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” (‘Believe’ means trust only on Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.)
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) - “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Faith ALONE Only on Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection ALONE, is required. GRACE means UNMERITED FREE GIFT; no human effort can make a person qualified.) Believing means Salvation.
Romans 3:28 (KJV) - “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law”
Romans 3:20, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight....”:
Romans 4:5 (KJV), “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness”
Please be aware, Salvation is Not received by Repentance of sins, commandment keeping, or any human effort of any type. Additional examples of human effort: water baptism, surrendering our life, turning from sins, praying/asking, good deeds, church attendance, etc.
Romans 11:6 (KJV), “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace....”
IF we believe we are accepted by God for salvation (made born again by God) based on any human effort (repentance of sins or water baptism, for examples), then we are Not under Grace (UNMERITED FREE GIFT), but are under the law (God’s commandments), and condemned, not saved.
God the Son (Jesus) has DONE everything needed for salvation to be offered to every living person. BUT, we must Trust/Believe/Rely ONLY on Jesus’ work at the cross (his death, burial, and resurrection), and Not trust on anything we try to do to receive salvation, other than BELIEVE. We are born again/saved by grace through faith alone.
We Cannot be Saved with any Faith for Salvation on Water Baptism or any Works / Human Effort:
1 Corinthians 1:17 (KJV) - “For Christ sent me NOT to BAPTIZE, but to preach the gospel; not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of NO EFFECT.”
Faith on Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, not water baptism, must be the way of receiving salvation. Water baptism was for the Jewish people offered salvation and the kingdom on earth by the Gospel (good news) of the Kingdom, where a work under Old Testament law, water baptism, was required commandment keeping AFTER being saved by faith alone.
If we trust on any works or human effort for salvation, we will NOT be saved.
Galatians 3:10 (KJV), “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.”
(We can’t continue in all things of the law (10 commandments), because we have already BROKEN the law, and are condemned by the law.)
Galatians 3:10 (KJV), “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse.”
Galatians 5:4 (KJV), “Christ is become of NO EFFECT unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (works); ye are fallen (separated) from grace (not saved).
Galatians 2:16 (KJV), “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”
Jesus came as God the Son and God in flesh:
Isaiah 9:6 (KJV), For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God.......
Titus 2:13 (KJV), Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:15 (KJV), Jesus is the image of the invisible God......
Hebrews 1:8 (KJV), But unto the Son he (God the Father) saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever.... Philippians 2:6 (KJV) - Jesus, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. 1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV), And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh.
    Eternal Security:
Being Born Again (made permanently spiritually sinless by God) is Obtained by Faith Alone on the Gospel Alone and it’s PERMANENT. Believing that a person can lose salvation means we incorrectly believe we can obtain or keep salvation by HUMAN EFFORT. That means we approach God for salvation with faith on human effort, and that means No salvation:
John 3:3 (KJV), “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Titus 3:5 (KJV), “NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit.”
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV), Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Ephesians 4:30 (KJV), “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are SEALED unto the day of redemption.”🙏🙏

@John M - Read all these verses in context. Acts 3:19-21 - REPENT therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. Acts 2:38 - Peter replied, "REPENT and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Act 26:20 - First to those in Damascus and Jerusalem, then to everyone in the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I declared that they should REPENT and turn to God, performing deeds worthy of their REPENTANCE. Matthew 4:17 - From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, REPENT: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 3:1-2 - In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near”. Mark 1:15 - “The time is fulfilled," He said, "and the kingdom of God is near. REPENT and believe in the gospel!" Matthew 11:20 - Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they REPENTED NOT. James 2:17 - Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 💕

The book of Acts is a book of transition, because it took time for Paul to receive the currently in effect Gospel of Grace through Faith ALONE from a resurrected Jesus (God the Son who came as God in flesh). Repent, means "Change Your Mind." That means change your mind and believe on Jesus to be saved. When Jesus was on the earth and into the book of Acts, they had to believe the Gospel of the Kingdom, which was believe on his name, his identity, and they Were, at that time, Under that Gospel of the Kingdom, commanded to do works, such as water baptism. They were saved by simply believing WHO Jesus is, and were commanded to do works as Evidence of their faith. That is why the book of James includes the requirement to do works as Evidence of saving faith; but Not to Earn salvation. Nobody can at any time can EARN salvation by commandment keeping, because ALL have broken the commandments and are CONDEMNED by the commandments. Under Old Testament (OT) law and the Gospel of the Kingdom, refusing to do works was evidence of not having saving faith. That is why the book of James indicates faith without works is dead.
NOBODY can be saved under OT law and the gospel of the kingdom today, before the rapture. AFTER the rapture, in the tribulation, the world goes back under the gospel of the kingdom. Today, before the rapture, all people must receive salvation by FAITH ALONE, trusting ONLY on Jesus’ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) death, burial, and resurrection, and Are NOT commanded to do WORKS.
Now, before the rapture, No person is under OT law; NO Person is commanded to do works as evidence of their faith.
Romans 10:4 (KJV), “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) - “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Faith Only on the Gospel, above, is required. GRACE means UNMERITED FREE GIFT.)
1‭ ‬Corinthians 1:17 (KJV‭) - “‬For Christ sent me NOT to BAPTIZE, but to preach the gospel; not with wisdom of words,‭ ‬lest the cross of Christ should be made of NO EFFECT.”
Today, FAITH ALONE on Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, not water baptism, must be the way of receiving salvation. Water baptism was for people offered salvation and the kingdom on earth by the Gospel (good news) of the Kingdom, where a work under Old Testament law, water baptism, was required commandment keeping AFTER being saved by faith alone. To be saved and have the kingdom, they only had to believe Jesus was/is God the Son, the King, Savior, and the messiah. Now, we must trust Only on Jesus’ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) death, burial, and resurrection.
The Gospel (Good News) of Grace through Faith ALONE in Effect today for ALL in the the Age of Grace, the Church Age, before the rapture, is reflected in the additional verses below,
Romans 3:28 (KJV) - “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law”
Romans 4:5 (KJV), “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness”
Please be aware, we must trust in our hearts ONLY on the following to receive the FREE GIFT of salvation before death and the rapture:
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (KJV) - "Christ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…:
When Lord Jesus was on the earth, and for some time after they stoned Stephen, all people could be saved by the Gospel of the Kingdom which did command works as evidence of faith. But, Lord Jesus did say that FAITH ALONE is the only requirement for salvation when he was on the earth.
They only had to believe on his name, his identity, because that is all he had revealed; faith alone saved them at that time.
Notice that the thief on the cross was NOT water baptized, but he WAS SAVED. So, God (Jesus) was looking at the heart of the thief and could see that he believed on Jesus; that saved the thief.
John 3:36 (KJV), “He that Believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
John 6:47 (KJV) "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that Believeth on me hath everlasting life."
John 3:16 (KJV), “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever Believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:18 (KJV), “He that Believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Today, before the rapture, we must be saved by FAITH alone. If we trust on any works or human effort for salvation,‭ ‬we will NOT be saved.
Galatians‭ 3:10 (KJV), “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.”
(We can’t continue in all things of the law‭ (‬10 commandments), because we have already BROKEN the law, and are condemned by the law.)
Galatians‭ ‬5:4 (KJV), “Christ is become of NO EFFECT unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (works); ye are fallen (separated) from grace (not saved).:10 (KJV),
Galatians‭ ‬2:16 (KJV), “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”
Romans‭ 11:6 (KJV), “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.”
      See Explanation below:
‭(GRACE means UNMERITED FREE GIFT. If we claim to have Done something to qualify for salvation, other than BELIEVE, then we are in unbelief of the bible, have REJECTED the FREE GIFT of salvation that can only be received by FAITH ALONE, and will be judged and CONDEMNED by the law/commandments. Works/Human Effort cannot be involved in receiving or keeping salvation.)
