This was just awesome. I couldn't help but smile all the way while watching. She contributed such a great deal to 90s music, yet she's so humble and down to earth. Loved every minute of this. Thank you!
She's such a fascinating, likable person. I'm 36 now, but when I was 9 or 10, my Mom used to work for a music store that had loads of Japanese imports. I remember her bringing home some of the old SEB compilations and listening to Annerley even back then. It's surreal to put her face and insight with the music I've heard for so many years.
what a lovely lady - I still play 2 times regularly on my play list - It means a lot to me as it was the first track that played the first time I went clubbing back in 1999 - and the sound still hold up today, such a joyful tune - thank you!
Thank you so much! '2 Times' has definitely been part of my youth as a 16- or 17-year-old boy. I remember travelling to Berlin with the ICE (German high speed railway) in 1999, and 2 Times has been part of the 'official' radio programme of Deutsche Bahn (German railways) on board, you just had to plug your headphones into the jack of your seat - even in the second class. :D I've been so curious about the way she looks today and you gave us the opportunity to find that out with your interview. What a likeable and down-to-earth woman! I found it very pleasant to know about the fact that she has never been keen on a professional career and never took lessons in singing, it's just her passion for music that took her where she was in the 90s. Quite the opposite of most commercially successful musicians and / or singers of today.
This is definitely one of the most surprising interviews I have ever watched on your channel Twan.
