I found the toddlers I had went and hid behind the couch when they needed to go poop.... lol 😆 Keep going with the potty training, one step forward and sometimes two back.... but so nice once they’ve cracked it and are dry and clean.
Hello I’m from Kentucky and I’m really interested in a video of tips for first time homebuyers and how long should we take to save up or what credit bureaus we can use to help speed the process up some! I absolutely love your channel my name is Mandi I’m 31 btw and my channel is about storm chasing and weather nerd stuff but my husband and I are looking to buy a house in the next 3-5 years!
Potty training is rough. I just tossed the poopie undies in the trash. Lol. I do not miss it at all. Hahahaha. I am here for whatever, and personally support you two taking the babies off the channel.
Try putting vinegar in your washing machine it’ll help SO MUCH WITH THE SMELLS!! I raised three sons and they were all potty trained by 2. Going potty is usually easier with the potty than the poop for some reason. My boys would go hide and squat to go poop in their underwear at first. Constant reassurance and little prizes and he’ll get it eventually. Good luck guys!!
My son was going into preschool (he was almost four) and needed to be potty trained to go. I’m a single mom but took a week off of work and strictly focused on potty training the full week. First two days were hard but he got it and I did the reward system too but he eventually stopped asking and would just go potty. I told him during that week we only had so many diapers left and they were for nighttime. I also let him have accidents in his underwear and kept telling him to let me know when he had to go potty because I knew he hated the wetness feeling and it clicked after the 3rd day. He was potty trained by the end of week completely. Once and a while will he have accidents still but it really helped to let him have those accidents and feel what it was like to know yeah I don’t like this feeling I need to go on the potty.
Omg. My 3 year old daughter is the same way! She pooped on the potty three times and we were so excited! The next day she’s in the bathroom and I go to check on her…. There’s a big ole turd on the floor, poop on the carpet in my room and almost a whole thing of wipes on my floor. 🤦🏻♀️ Needless to say we are still working on it. 😩
My son just turned 2 and we’ve been testing the waters when it comes to potty training. I take him out on the porch naked to see if he’ll pee. He pooped on the porch and then proceeded to pick it up and throw it off the porch 🤦🏻♀️🤣
It honestly sounds like Louie is almost there!! Good job!!! Of all of the kids I have potty trained or helped to potty train the boys were most definitely the hardest!!! The girls ( with the exception of one of my nieces lol) were a dream in comparison. Fingers crossed for you when Lucy is up to bat. 😉
OK, I got my out loud laugh for the day! 🤣💩 We used rewards. Our son loved the micro-mini cars and so he would try to go when he did not even have to go just to get another car!
Vinegar for sure in your washing machine!! I used the Yum Earth candies and once they started going #1 and got the hang of it I explained they they only got candy when they tried/went #2. No bottoms helped so much because it makes them aware nothing will “catch” it! I also took a potty chair with me on drives then eventually just the potty seat attachment too. Sometimes going in public is scary and it just made it easier I thought. I’ve heard boys are harder than girls too but I only have girls lol
my 3 year old would ask for diapers when he pooped - we made him poop in bathroom in the diaper then eventually he went in potty - he had no interest in going on potty until after his 3rd birthday - I got "potty patrol" book
I wish I had known it! We’ve tried medication, now just ordered this device that can sense when he urinates and it will vibrate/alarm to wake him up to get used to the sensations. If it helps, I’ll be sure to pass along! I would have tried it years ago if I had known about them. Potty alarms I think they’re called
Everyone has their own opinions on potty training but for my daughter she learned to pee in the potty 6 months before learning to poop. So what I ended up doing was putting her in pull ups because they go up and down easy for peeing in the potty BUT the poops can just go in the garbage! I know people say they cause confusion but it never did for us. The ped also told us that if they are scared to poop not to push them because it can lead to lifelong issues with pooping. So I’d suggest not pushing him. Some kids can develop chronic constipation issues if you aren’t careful. We’ve dealt with constipation a few times now that my daughter is elementary aged and it’s absolutely terrible.
I'm definitely here for toddler content. I've got a 15,5 month old haha so before I know it, I'll be dealing with this too. It's a scary time 😂 Also, I am nosey too haha I like costs breakdowns of moving and houses and such. It's interesting to see what things cost in other countries haha.
My mom shared the same stories with me. Both of my brothers would go hide behind furniture and poop. But not my sister or I. Not sure what it is about boys - but there is some sort of fear.
We have two babies so close in ages to you guys, I’ll be here as long as you are haha I am here for the toddler content 😂 I about died laughing when you said you were tired of changing gross poop diapers and so you traded them for underwear. 🤣 soooo much worse. My condolences to your laundry! We are I think three weeks into potty training here so I feel a lot of this! We also did BLF course and we couldn’t commit to the full three days but I wish we could have. I think it took a little longer to sink in. We also had great success the first few days of poop in a row in the potty and then he did it again in his pants at school, but since then he’s been a lot better about using the potty. It’s been a roller coaster!
We often have to hold his hand when he poops for the same kind of comfort. So your little guy is not alone! Also it’s getting cold here in WI too and it’s wonderful!
I am also here for the toddler and fam content! I have a 2 year old and 1 year old and live next door, Wisconsin 🙃 love watching you guys and wish you posted more often!!
I sent you a message on Instagram. I tried posting my comment here at least 5 or 6 times and it continuously vanishes for some reason. Can't figure out why. Reworded things several times to no avail. Are your comments censored or something?
Ah, yeah we manually approve all comments so that we make sure we see them and we also make sure people aren’t being disrespectful/spam/hurtful which unfortunately happens a lot
@@FamilytaleVlogs it was just kind of odd. The one above I had no problem with. It immediately posted, but the other one kept vanishing as soon as I refreshed it was gone. 🤔

Oh!!! Vinegar, baking soda, Tide washer cleaner , bleach to clean your washing machine, and then borax and baking soda added to the wash for clothes.
I found the toddlers I had went and hid behind the couch when they needed to go poop.... lol 😆

I’m so proud of you all. Been watching you since the beginning. My channel just got to 50 subscribers 😂🙌🏼…long road ahead! Your both my inspiration!!!
keep up the good content!
Thank you :)
Re do your laundry load. Add a good portion of vinegar, plus your detergent. It won't smell like vinegar, but it will get the odor out. 😁

For the house cost I’m guessing around 750,000. Interested to see if I’m close!

My son is 7 and still isn’t trained overnight. It’s normal :) much harder for boys at night time! Good luck ❤
Good to know!!

I'd love to see some toy reviews and how you guys are handling screen time and games with them.
Great ideas! We will try and do something covering those soon!!

Hahaha 💗💙 It is SUCH a roller coaster haha! Louie had his first overnight accident in probably 2 months last night.
In the same boat with my 2.5 year old 😩 refuses to 💩 on the potty. So would you recommend this book?? I’m desperate lol
Haha I think it gives some solid advice so yeah I would check it out!
He isnt quite ready sounds like. Revisit the bowel training in a few months.
Probably not a bad idea!
Use vinegar! I pour a whole bunch in the wash and soak with an extra rinse. I have been there 😆
Ha! I'll have to give that a try, thank you!!
We’re potty training as well and Charlotte refuses to poop on the potty. We have no clue what to do!
Ugh!!! It’s so tough, I wish there was a magic wand to help this process hahah
I am also here for the toddler and fam content! I have a 2 year old and 1 year old and live next door, Wisconsin 🙃 love watching you guys and wish you posted more often!!
