I like the fact that these machines use a proper amount of water during their cycles. Much like the first and last generation Neptunes.
Wife and I would like your top 5 list
Every week I throw in seven pair of jeans (33x34), two or three pair of shorts and if a pair of jeans looks like one of your work pants I might run a cold Pre Wash. I run a Full warm wsh with an extra rinse and after fourteen years with this machine I've never seen a spot left on anything of mine yet. I pretreat some spills and things when I can but this machine is Da Bomb!
@Isaac Joby John I have. It’s a very good performer though the dryer is mediocre and the quality of both is middling. I’m dissatisfied because I have solar panels living in Florida and generate my own electric. As a result Electrolux/Frigidaire void all warranties in homes that generate their own electric. Had I known I’d have replace my upstairs machines with another Whirlpool pair as I’d had before.
The washers that we have had in my family from oldest to newest.
1. 1963 Kenmore 60 series ? Black straight vane agitator...great washer.
2.1973 Fedders Norge 20 lb. Capacity washer with burpalator agitator...mom's favorite washer
3. 1983 Used Westinghouse washer from the early 70's like new TOL model with weigh to save lid and a panel light....decent performer.
4. 1988 First of two Whirlpool DD washers we owned 1 speed super capacity with three w/r temps and three water levels....agitator had a filter on the bottom of the barrel...good washer.
5. 2003 Kenmore DD 90 series. That was a great machine and very flexible. Broke the plug off..and that was my excuse to get the next washer....hindsight is 20/20 they say. LOL. I've regreted that decision since.
6. 2011 Maytag Bravo's X.....let's just say it cleaned my socks well, otherwise a $600+ piece of human excrement.
2013. Speed Queens AWN432 washer and TOL Speed Queen dryer...both running as well as the day I got them.
2019 Whirlpool front loading washer model: WFW6620HW. Other than the long time the machine takes to balance to spin it is a pretty good machine .
My first front loader and I think I am a convert to front load washing.
Tried to get a Speed Queen fler but the dealer didn't have any in the store. I wanted to see one before I ordered.

You picked the right time to go front-load. Plenty of Americans still outright refuse them because they heard a rumor 25 years ago that they get moldy or "don't use enough water"... well post-2018, nothing uses much water but at least a front loader can *actually deal* with that! Modern top loaders struggle to get the clothes on top even *saturated* let alone immersed. Besides, as this video makes very evident, using less water means more effective detergent and better scrubbing action between the fabrics in the machine. The wash action of a front loader is just superior, there's no denying it. And with as good performing, fast spinning and reliable as the modern LGs and even GEs are, there's no reason to settle for a 650prm asthmatic old whirlpool VMW top loader that will cost you $6,000 more in electricity to dry your clothes over its miserably short life! 😂
@@dregenius I've had both and I can tell you there is no advantage to a front loader as far as cleaning. My water is cheap and my current commercial top loader uses plenty of water to not only clean but flush smells away and get the job done within 40 minutes on the longest cycle.. That's efficiency with my time.
@@patcola7335 that may sound quick, but that lazy spinning top loader (that can't even redistribute clothes to balance itself) is taking not only more time, but thousands of dollars in electricity, and even if your dryer is gas it's pumping way more conditioned air out of your house over the significantly longer run time leading to higher costs, more maintenance on your heating and cooling system, and stressing our grid that's already at the limit... All because the failed concept of a washer that loads from the top can't spin worth a darn!
@@dregenius My top loader balances very well. I had a front loader that took ages to balance.I had to wash a load for a friend several years ago and the load stunk of stale cigarettes. The front loader did not get the smell out with it's too low of water use. The top loader also FLUSHES out those smells much better than a modern home front loader could.

When did they bring the home front loader back? I think my LG is on its way out and I have to say it has been AMAZING I just want something that will last longer than 7 years
The Problem with this SQ washer no matter what Model you have is It Doesn’t Fill with Enough Water . The Speed Queen Engineers Have Not allowed the Amount for Water Clothing Soaks Up In general . The Pressure Switch the SQ usages is a Generic Part that’s used in a Number of different Makes and Models . Mostly for Smaller capacity machines . Therefore this Larger capacity Sq washer is being Shorted During the Fill cycle . I did mention this to SQ but of course they are Short Sighted. 24:48
You should look into the GE ultrafresh.
What is the possibility of getting this machine but mechanical version used now days?

If you had to pick between the speed queen top load or the speed queen front load washer.... what one would you pick and why? Thanks for the great videos mate.
craigsclocks top load because the front loader just runs your clothes through a small puddle of water and the last one i used would give about 5 complete turns and then just stops for about 7 or 6 seconds and then resumes, and after about 4 cycles of this it drains.
so it doesnt really provide enough washing action to me

Modern top loaders struggle to get the clothes on top even *saturated* let alone immersed, and even if you find the setting to make your clothes swim in 70 gallons of water, thats NOT CLEANING well, that's RINSING well.. as this video makes very evident, using less water means more effective detergent and better scrubbing action between the fabrics in the machine. The wash action of a front loader is just superior, there's no denying it. Let me know if you find a hotel, hospital or institutional laundry room that has top loader lmao!!!! And with as good performing, fast spinning and reliable as the modern LGs and even GEs are, there's no reason to settle for a 650prm asthmatic old whirlpool VMW or LazySpinQueen top loader that will cost you $6,000 more in electricity to dry your clothes over its miserable, buzzing, loud, unbalanced life! 😂
@@dregenius I've noticed watching tons of different washer videos of people making videos of different cycles... I don't think the Front load washers now are not using too little water... It looks to me like they're using more than a few years ago...and now they have recirculation. I just watched an LG FL washer video and the rinse was amazing... water sloshing all over the place. In fact, it looked like even more water than this one.
Didn’t you say that they will stop the front load versions of this machine? Or was that a mistake?
Lorain Furniture I found out that they will still do the front load stacked sets! Do not too much of a loss!
I wish my front load today have this much water. It's disgusting how much water is in the machine during the wash cycle. Whoever came up with this idea needs to be droppedkicked!
