You can get a bent siphon tube and use the tank on the side. There are several companies that sell bent tubes so one can use the tank on the side.
I rent a 50lb co2 tank with siphon tube for $80 a year, and then $65 for each tank exchange and that’s exchange delivered here in Dallas area. The refill kit is $40 and now I refill my 15lb tanks.

At a fire extinguisher company I bought a second 15lb tank refurbished and recertified co2 tank for $60. Several other companies that deal with home brewing kegs, also have co2 tanks new and recertified at awesome prices.

You can go to a home brew Beer supplier to fill your tank. It cost me 15 dollars to fill my 10lbs tank.

I pieced mine together before last summer and I love it lol. The 12v inflators we’re taking way too long and died on me.
I got the 10lb and I don’t have as nice of a regulator but it does the job for around 250$. I feel cool as hell every time I bust this out and air up after a beach weekend hahaha. I haven’t seen many at all where I live in Long Island. Biggest con is the space it takes up in my little jeep renegade.

If I see you at Gilgo Im gonna have to steal this! Looks awesome and I am sure way better than my harbor freight compressor. ;)

Can't wait to see where you mount this. I would like to know some of the comparisons between this and a compressor as well as the use of air vs C02. Could you use an on board compressor to fill an auxiliary tank to use in the same manner?

I hope to build a custom box in the back of the LJ and mount it to the top of it. That or mount it to the rollbar. The 10lb would be easier to mount in the Jeep but I wanted the 15lb for 37s.
It really depends on if you use a double cylinder high CFM compressor or a single cylinder compressor. The singles take forever to inflate large tires and doesn’t even compare to the CO2 tank. The dual cylinder is great but still takes a bit longer than CO2. CO2 is quicker, quieter, can take it anywhere (non battery dependent), run tools off of it…etc. I have multiple sizes of compressors so I’ll have to do a video of the comparisons in the future. You can use an onboard system with an air tank but it still isn’t going to have the volume or PSI that CO2 allows.
